Maria Scouros, MD, founded the Houston Cancer Institute, PA, which has three locations in Houston, in 1984. She is certified by the American Board of Medical Oncology, with an international reputation for practicing state-of-the-art medicine with a commitment to excellence. Dr. Scouros received her training in medical oncology at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas, after completing her medical training at the Royal Free Hospital Medical School in London, UK and her internal medicine training at Evangelismos Hospital, Athens, Greece.

Dr. Scouros has brought new advances in cancer therapy to the Houston community she serves. Ashley Cook, WHNP-BC, is a highly trained Women's Health Nurse Practitioner at Woodlands Aesthetics in The Woodlands, Texas. She has almost two decades of experience and specializes in an array of women’s services.

Kenechukwu "Kene" Enekebe, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician at Memorial Springs ER, providing urgent care to people of all ages in Spring, Texas, and the communities of Spring, Klein, Tomball, and The Woodlands.

Specializing in comprehensive patient care, she applies science and her clinical expertise to diagnose, treat, and provide compassionate care to all of her patients. She is committed to delivering high-value care and the best health outcomes and patient experiences. 

Dr. Sun-Wright studied at the University of Texas in San Antonio, where she earned her Master of Science and PhD in biochemistry. While serving as an assistant professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, she was involved in the development of using bacteriophage as a “natural killer” to bacteria in the human body. The research experience has trained her to always approach an issue with systematic assessment and critical thinking. 

During her research years, Dr. Sun-Wright realized she enjoyed helping people so she later obtained her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Dallas before moving to the Houston area so she could be closer to her loving and extended family. 

Her awards include “Top Doctors” in Houston for multiple years, and she was also named in the Who’s Who in Primary Care in the US in 2018. She served as a representative to Texas Medical Association early in her career and recently as a medical director for a national health care organization. 

Prior to her endeavors, Dr. Sun-Wright was an assistant instructor in the Department of Cellular and Structural Biology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. In addition to her role as an Internist, she is a Certified Clinical Densitometrist (CCD). A CCD is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies, a professional designation awarded to clinicians who meet specified knowledge.

Dr. Sun-Wright is a triathlon enthusiast and is fluent in English, Chinese, and medically conservant in Spanish. 

Alan Mobley, MD, is a board-certified cardiovascular disease specialist, offering comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services at Heart Care of Conroe in Conroe, Texas. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Dr. Mobley attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and the University of Kentucky in Lexington, where he completed a bachelor’s degree. Annie Chang, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Heights Dermatology in Houston. 

Annie is originally from the Houston area and attended high school at St. Agnes Academy. She graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science and Arts in Nutrition in Business. She obtained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from UTMB in 2019. 

Before completing her graduate studies, she gained hands-on experience working as a clinical care coordinator in hepatology at the Houston Medical Center.

In addition to her background in nutrition, Annie holds a keen interest in skin care and in preventative medicine through lifestyle and diet. Building a strong relationship with every patient is an integral part of her practice. Having received personal training in dermatology from Dr. Alpesh Desai, DO, and Tejas Desai, DO, Annie practices medical dermatology, skin cancer surgeries, and other various skin procedures.
