Maria Scouros, MD, founded the Houston Cancer Institute, PA, which has three locations in Houston, in 1984. She is certified by the American Board of Medical Oncology, with an international reputation for practicing state-of-the-art medicine with a commitment to excellence. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, Texas Medical Association and Harris County Medical Society, and MD Anderson Alumni. 

Dr. Scouros received her training in medical oncology at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas, after completing her medical training at the Royal Free Hospital Medical School in London, UK and her internal medicine training at Evangelismos Hospital, Athens, Greece.

Ruby Samuel John, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. She provides expert care to patients at Magnolia Family Medicine in Magnolia, Texas.
