A graduate of Baylor University in Waco, Texas, Dr. McWilliams moved to Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine to complete his doctorate. He studied under the prestigious Conroe Family Medicine Residency Program for his residency.
Before coming to Stone Creek Family Medicine, Dr. McWilliams practiced as a family medicine and urgent care physician in the Woodlands and Huntsville. He provides preventive, chronic, and acute care to patients of all ages.
In addition to his experience, Dr. McWilliams is a National Health Service Corp Scholar, a Texas State licensee, and board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Previously, he was a medical director at both Hermann Memorial Hospital Medical Clinic in Huntsville, Texas, and The Oaks Medical Center, in Spring, Texas.

Great place to go
I felt very comfortable when we first walked into the clinic with the muse who met us and went over my reasons for coming in that day to see Courtney Groves! And when she came in and went over everything that we were concerned about she listened to my daughter-in-law and me and gave us helpful suggestions for senior home care and therapy to help me during this time after the loss of my husband.
Got in and out quickly. Dr listened well. Gave me good information on my health.

Courtney is very attentive and knowledgable. She asked me if the was anything special bothering me and I said no. I have to many things on a daily basis. She knows all about my crazy b/p although I now go to cardiologist. I did forget to ask her a few things but I know I can always call her back at the office. I have to many specialists!! Appointment was on time in a friendly and clean office. Courtney always takes time to listen and offers options in decisions for my healthcare.
This rating covers the last 14 years. I was injured in Afghanistan and needed a level head to guide me through the next several years of putting my life back together. Dr. Mc Williams is a stand up Doctor and he must have had a lot of patience to take care of me. I am now 68 years old next month and after several surgeries and various medications, x-rays, c-scans, MRI's, blood draws and several I cannot remember for many reasons. The most challenging item besides the aforementioned, was dealing with my employers Workers Compensation (Cigna) care manager. Fortunately, Medicare is now taking care of most of the costs. They are worth every penny, just like Dr. Mc Williams is! One last but not least credit should be given to his wonderful staff.
