Dr. Makam completed his bachelor's degree in biology at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California. He then pursued his doctorate in osteopathic medicine at the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.

Ali Ashtiani, MD is a fellowship-trained, board-eligible interventional cardiologist at Cardiology Specialists of Orange County (CSOC) practicing in Santa Ana, Irvine, and Newport Beach, California.
