Jessica Taff, MD, is a triple board-certified Hematologist, Medical Oncologist, and Internist.  Through her leadership role at Coastal Hematology & Oncology Center, Dr. Taff is honored to serve the communities of Toms River and Forked River, New Jersey, where she was born and raised. 

Education has always played a central role in Dr. Taff’s life. She earned her undergraduate and medical degrees at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Humaira Quraishi, ND, MS, is a naturopathic doctor serving patients at her practice in Fort Lee, New Jersey. She aims to inspire, empower, educate, and treat her patients’ health issues.

Born in Pakistan, Dr. Quraishi immigrated to the United States with her parents when she was 4 years old. She has traveled to Pakistan throughout her life to visit family, and during that time, she gained an awareness of health and wellness in both countries. Dr. Kaur is fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi. In her free time, Dr. Kaur enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and volunteering time at the local Sikh Temple where she focuses on her faith, Sikhism.

Dr. Sosa received her undergraduate degree at The University of Texas at Austin, where she majored in biology. Kirk E. Kanady, MD, is the founder and medical director of Greater Houston Radiation Oncology with two offices in Houston, Texas, and another in Huntsville, Texas. Board-certified in therapeutic radiation oncology, Dr. Kanady has extensive experience with the latest techniques for treating cancer, with a particular emphasis on prostate cancer.

Maria Scouros, MD, founded the Houston Cancer Institute, PA, which has three locations in Houston, in 1984. Dr. Chalian earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine at Imperial College in London. After relocating to New York, Dr. Chalian went through an internship at New York University Downtown Hospital. Steven Chen, MD, is a fellowship-trained oncologist surgeon who specializes in breast, endocrine, and melanoma surgery. Today, he is proud to work with the rest of the OasisMD team to help patients recover from the effects of cancer at OasisMD in Encinitas, San Diego, and Temecula, California. 

Dr. Chen completed both his undergraduate and medical degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He later performed his general surgery residency and critical care fellowship at the University of Michigan before moving to Los Angeles and completing a surgical oncology fellowship at the John Wayne Cancer Institute in Santa Monica, California.

Dr. Chen then joined the City of Hope, serving as the associate director of the Surgical Oncology Training Program. During his tenure there, Dr. Chen worked to train the next generation of surgical oncologists and served as the director of surgical oncology research. Dr. Chen also served as an associate professor of surgery. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Chen has also served as the chief of breast surgery and the chair of the Melanoma Tumor Board at the University of California, Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California. His leadership ability led him to become a director of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and to assist in accrediting breast oncology training programs for the Society of Surgical Oncology.

Kamlesh Kumar Sankhala MD (also known as Dr. Kumar by his patients and colleagues) is a Medical Oncologist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, and Director of Precision NextGen Oncology and Research Center, an independent center focused on treatment of complex, rare cancer and Sarcomas, as well as, clinical research in Oncology for expedited drug development and clinical research. Precision NextGen Oncology and Research Center  focuses on care for patients with Advanced Cancers who are refractory to conventional treatments. We provide care to these patients with multi- institutional coordinated care and access to novel and next generation therapies with or without clinical trials.

As a young adult, he moved to Charlottesville, Virginia where he completed a double major in chemistry and biology at the University of Virginia, graduating with high honors. He then completed his neurosurgical residency at the University of California, Irvine, where he spent a year completing an enfolded skull-base surgery fellowship. Dr. Ho has dedicated himself to the belief that the health of every one of his patients depends on a comprehensive, personalized approach to care that includes a combination of the latest treatment techniques and the personal touch of a physician who truly cares.

Because of his wide range of interests, including music, nutrition, calisthenics, Philadelphia Eagles football, and gourmet food, Dr. Ho is able to connect easily with his patients and share insightful conversations. He is a devoted family man, spending as much time as possible with his wife and two young sons. He speaks English, Spanish, and Chinese.

Ashkan Lashkari, MD, is a physician at Wellness Oncology and Hematology. Dr. Lashkari offers personalized oncology and hematology care to patients at the practice’s offices in West Hills and Tarzana, California.

Born and raised in Santa Monica, California, by parents who were both dedicated educators, Dr. Lashkari knew at a young age that he wanted a career that would allow him to help others. He stayed close to home for his education, earning bachelor’s degrees in art history and molecular biology from the University of California at Los Angeles, and then remained at UCLA to complete his Doctor of Medicine degree.

During medical school, Dr. Lashkari developed a keen interest in cancer care, inspired by the discoveries of new treatments and the possibility of helping people with challenging conditions.

After an internal medicine residency at UCLA, Dr. Lashkari completed a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center in Duarte, California. He focused his time on learning how to design clinical trials and researching familial cancer syndromes. His vast experience allows him to provide high-quality, compassionate care to his patients.

Dr. Lashkari is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Medical Oncology, and the American Board of Hematology. Because of his ongoing dedication to knowing about the latest oncology treatments and advances, he retains active membership in the Medical Oncology Association of Southern California, the American Society of Hematology, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He is also an assistant clinical faculty member at Olive View–UCLA Medical Center in Sylmar, California.

Dr. Lashkari enjoying spending time with his wife and two daughters, traveling, running, visiting museums, playing tennis, and cooking. He speaks English and Farsi.
