Dr. Lawrence Hier has been helping patients attain beautiful smiles in South Florida for over 20 years. Dr. Gus Gialamas is one of the founders of Sea View Orthopaedics and has been practicing sports medicine and general orthopedic surgery in San Clemente for over 20 years. He is well known and respected within the San Clemente and surrounding community for his expertise and dedication to patient care. Throughout his career, Dr. Gialamas has gained extensive experience performing and teaching arthroscopic procedures, including rotator cuff and labral repair, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, meniscal repair, and microfracture. Additionally, he has considerable expertise in hip and knee replacement surgery and fracture treatment.

He earned his Bachelor's degree from Pepperdine University and his Medical Doctorate from The University of Health Science-Chicago Medical School. Dr. Gialamas then completed a research fellowship at the Harrington Arthritis Research Center in Phoenix, Arizona, followed by a core general surgical internship at the University of California, San Francisco. He completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery there in 1992. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.

After completing his training, Dr. Gialamas moved to San Clemente, where he co-founded Sea View Orthopaedics. He served as Chairman of Orthopedic Surgery, Chief of Surgery, and Chief of Staff at Saddleback Memorial San Clemente Hospital. He was also on the active staff at Mission Hospital and Children's Hospital in Mission Viejo, California.

Dr. Gialamas dedicates much of his free time to serving the San Clemente community and others around the globe. He is a member of the Board of Operation Rainbow, a non-profit organization dedicated to performing free orthopedic surgeries for indigent children in developing countries worldwide who do not have access to necessary medical procedures or equipment. He is also a founding member of the Board of Directors for the American Freestyle Motocross Association. In addition, Dr. Gialamas served as a team physician for Saddleback College and San Clemente High School and is a board member for the San Clemente Boys and Girls Club. Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Gialamas enjoys spending time with his family whenever possible.

Kelly Choi, DMD, MSD, is well-versed in traditional and modern orthodontic treatment modalities. She brings her enthusiasm and experience to Smile Orthodontics with offices in Santa Rosa and Windsor, California.

She received her dental training from the University of Pennsylvania and completed her orthodontic residency at the University of Washington. Originally from the East Coast, Dr. Choi first moved to California in 2013 to work for Invisalign® 's research department in San Jose, California. 

Dr. Choi quickly fell in love with the Bay Area weather and lifestyle, and her husband, a native Californian, had no trouble convincing her that California would be their forever home.

She is a member of numerous honor societies as well as local and national orthodontic associations. Dr. Choi has numerous accomplishments in the field, including the publication of her own scientific research in the prestigious Angle Orthodontist journal. Dr. Choi is also very proud to have passed a rigorous peer review exam in order to become a board-certified orthodontist.

Dr. Choi is an avid reader, yoga enthusiast, and runner. She loves to get outside and enjoy all of California’s natural wonders. She is very passionate about orthodontics and feels extremely lucky to practice a profession that she loves.

Joseph Eliason, DDS, MSD, APC, provides one-of-a-kind care at Smile Orthodontics with offices in Santa Rosa and Windsor, California. He brings a warm personality and extensive training in cutting-edge orthodontic technology to the team.  

Dr. Eliason loves practicing orthodontics and feels fortunate to be able to work on the beautiful smiles of Sonoma County. He received his dental and orthodontic training at the University of California, San Francisco, and the Medical College of Virginia.

Dr. Eliason loves working with kids of all ages, from 7-70. He and his wife, Jana, have four children of their own: Lily, Noah, Gracie, and Josie. He is an avid cyclist and loves exploring the roads of Sonoma County and the trails at Annadel State Park. Dr. Eliason and his family make their home in Windsor, California.  

Dr. Yoram Kohanzadeh is a graduate of UMDNJ's Orthodontic program, now known as Rutgers University Hospital. He obtained both his DDS and BS from UCLA. Dr. Kohanzadeh prioritizes clear communication to make sure the best possible treatment outcome is obtained. He is energetic and greatly enjoys orthodontics and working with his patients to deliver them their unique smile and to positively reinforce their self image. He is involved with many of local programs and societies, including the AAO, PCSO and CAO. He is currently a committee member of the NYM board of the PCSO.
