She then attended the UCLA School of Dentistry, where she graduated cum laude and was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. During graduation, the American Association of Women Dentists awarded her the Eleanor J. Bushee Senior Student Award for academic excellence and outstanding leadership.
Dr. Ohebsion chose a career in orthodontics because she wanted to have an impact on someone’s life in a positive, personal way that would last a lifetime. After attending UCLA for both her undergraduate and dental degrees, she underwent further training at UCLA’s orthodontic residency program, where she also completed a master’s degree in oral biology. Artin Meserkhani, DDS, MBA, is a skilled orthodontist at LA Dentists Group in Glendale and Pasadena, California. Raised in a family with a legacy of dental professionals, Dr. Meserkhani spent his youth admiring the practice of dentistry.
As he grew up, Dr. Meserkhani would spend his summers observing his uncle, who practiced as a general dentist, and working hands-on with his father, who owns a dental laboratory. Dr. Gisela Borget was born in Jalisco, Mexico. She was raised in Utah and attended the University of Utah for her undergraduate studies and went on to receive her D.D.S. from the UNC School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill.
After dental school Dr. Borget completed an orthodontic residency and earned her Master of Science degree at the University of Iowa. Dr. Borget is happily married and enjoys her three children: two girls and a boy.
When not practicing orthodontics, she enjoys reading, running, and spending time with her family and friends. Dr. Borget speaks Spanish fluently and is very excited to work with families in the Burgaw area.
