Isabel Del Valle is a born and raised in Union NJ, where she loves to give back to her community. She has a double BA in Criminal Justice and Psychology and studying to be a Marriage and Family Therapist. Isabel helped create the Criminal Justice club in college and became Vice President of the club and voluntarily worked as a facilitator for support groups at Good Grief in Princeton, NJ. She has worked with children for 10+ years and has done volunteer work with Petey Greene. Isabel has a special love and passion for children and families and she is one to give her best at all times.
Lisa Carrington, DDS, is a pediatric dentist at Select Dental & Orthodontics in Torrance, California. Dr. Carrington is happy to provide the little ones in your family with the specific care and welcoming experience they need to maintain their oral health.
Dr. Carrington attended Loyola Marymount University, graduating with her bachelor’s degree in biology. While at the university, she was a part of the Delta Zeta Sorority, BBB Biological Honor Society, Chemistry Society, and the LEAP Program.
Once she completed her undergraduate studies, she went on to pursue her doctorate in dental surgery (DDS) at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. Currently, she is working on finishing her pediatric dentistry residency at the University of Southern California.
Dr. Carrington brings years of patient care experience to Select Dental & Orthodontics. She has worked with both pediatric and geriatric patients, helping each group with their unique needs and delivering health care that makes their treatment processes simple and smooth. Dr. Sawyer graduated from UCSF dental school in 1983 and came to Los Altos in 1984 taking over this practice that was originally started back in 1952. Dr. Sawyer has served on a number of boards, including being the chair of the local dental society, the Mid-Penninsula Dental Association. He's active in the UC San Francisco Alumni Association, the California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association
As he has said over the years, “my friends have become patients, and my patients have become friends”.
He is skilled and compassionate in all aspects of dentistry. Kids and adults alike love coming to see Dr. Sawyer because of the fun stories he tells and how he subtly places the patients at ease.
Now that he has “semi-retired” he and his wife spend most of their time either with their 5 grandkids or else trying to hit a golfball, gardening, and making wine.
Although he and Dr. Vaswani often consult on cases together, you can still see Dr. Sawyer’s smiling face in the office on Fridays.
