Dr. Pauli spends most of his time with his three greatest loves: his faith, his family, and his pediatric practice. He has been married for over three decades to the love of his life, Vicki, and has an amazing daughter, Paisley, who is currently in Baylor’s Neurodevelopmental Pediatric Residency at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. He devotes a great deal of time to his church, Cornerstone, with their international television ministry for over 40 years. He is also the medical director and school board president for Cornerstone Christian School and the co-medical director of the Sanctuary of Hope. He is currently the President and CEO for NEPA.
Dr. Pauli enjoys spending his spare time in woodworking, target shooting, riding roller coasters, fishing, traveling, and just spending time with his family. He has also won hundreds of awards in local and state competitions in bowling and recently published a book called “All Life is in the Blood.”

Patricia K. DeForest, DO, is a board-certified pediatrician who has specialized expertise in attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADD/ADHD) and child development. Dr. DeForest treats patients at the San Antonio branch of THINK Neurology for Kids in Texas.
Dr. DeForest majored in education for her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University – Kingsville, earning a Bachelor of Science in 1990. She went on to earn a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix in 2004. After teaching students and professional development for 20 years, Dr. DeForest pursued her passion for medicine. She enrolled at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia, to complete her medical degree in 2015.
As a native Texan, Dr. DeForest returned to complete a pediatric residency and a pediatric palliative and hospice medicine fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. She served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at UT Health in San Antonio, treating children with multiple medical complexities for three years. She also served as a general pediatrician in Rolla, Missouri, for two years and was named Preceptor of the Year in 2022. She recently joined THINK Neurology for Kids to merge her knowledge of education with her medical expertise to benefit children with developmental disorders. Dr. DeForest holds certification from the American Board of Pediatrics.
When she is not devoting her time to young patients, Dr. DeForest enjoys spending time with her husband, adult children, grandchildren, and labrador fur babies.
