Dr. Sushma Penmetsa, known by her patients as Dr. Pen is a pediatrician with extensive experience in rendering medical care for children from the newborn age up through the age of 18. She completed a pediatric residency program at Harlem Hospital in New York and in UTMB, Galveston.

She completed her residency at UT Houston in the Houston Medical Center and previously worked in Sugar Land prior to moving to Westside Pediatrics. Her medical interests include nutrition, development, ADHD, and allergies. She is also certified in integrative medicine, a form of holistic medicine that focuses on the complete physical, mental, social, and spiritual aspects of a patient.
