Dr Kiersz-Mueller was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and moved to Florida with her parents and siblings at the age of 15. Dr. Kiersz-Mueller majored in chemical biology for her undergraduate studies at Stevens Institute of Technology, earning a Bachelor of Science. After graduating in 2010, she enrolled at the Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine to complete her medical degree.
Dr. Kiersz-Mueller undertook her internship in family and osteopathic medicine at the Medical College of Georgia from 2014-2015, and completed her residency in family and community medicine at the University of Texas Health Sciences San Antonio from 2015-2017, where she served as chief resident during her senior year. She joined THINK Neurology for Kids in 2020. Dr. Kiersz-Mueller holds certification from the American Board of Family Medicine.
When she is not devoting her time to young patients, Dr. Kiersz-Mueller takes great pleasure in spending time with her husband and hiking and paddle-boarding with their Dachshund. In December, 2019, Dr Kiersz Mueller became a CrossFit Level 1 trainer, which she hopes to someday integrate with her practice in order to promote self-confidence and strength in her patients.

Dr. Sushma Penmetsa, known by her patients as Dr. Pen is a pediatrician with extensive experience in rendering medical care for children from the newborn age up through the age of 18. She completed a pediatric residency program at Harlem Hospital in New York and in UTMB, Galveston.
During her time at the residency in UTMB Dr. Penmetsa received the best Residents Research Award. Dr. Penmetsa enjoys caring for patients and believes in the patient / parent trust in their doctor. Vy Ngo, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Heights Dermatology in Rosenberg, Texas. She joined the practice in 2022.
Vy graduated from the University of Houston in Texas in 2016 with her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences. She then attended Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania, obtaining her master’s in physician assistant studies. Prior to completing her graduate studies, Vy worked as a medical assistant in dermatology which piqued her initial interest in the field.
As a physician assistant, Vy has a passion for positive patient care and achieving the best results for her patients. She is trained and qualified in performing comprehensive physical exams, along with diagnosing and treating medical dermatologic conditions. Dr. Mammen completed her undergraduate education at Villanova University. She then earned her medical degree in 2001 from Medical College of Pennsylvania/Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia. After medical school, she attended the University of Connecticut for her pediatric residency. Dr. Mammen worked in Connecticut for 3 years before moving to Texas in 2007. Her medical interests include breastfeeding, ADHD, and asthma.
Dr. Mammen lives in Katy with her husband Sandeep, a local dentist, and they have three children. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, and working out.
Dr. Silvey completed her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and medical degree from Texas A&M College of Medicine. She completed her residency at UT Houston in the Houston Medical Center and previously worked in Sugar Land prior to moving to Westside Pediatrics. Her medical interests include nutrition, development, ADHD, and allergies. Dr. Silvey lives in Spring Branch with her husband Phillip and their baby cat, Rajah. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, going to music festivals, cooking, exercising, and watching and attending football games.

Sharon Lucas, MD, is a highly trained, board-certified pediatrician at Neighborhood Pediatrics in Shenandoah, Texas. As a mother of two children, Dr. Lucas is sympathetic to the needs of the whole family in addition to her pediatric patients. Rachel McConnell, MD, is an experienced, board-certified pediatrician at Neighborhood Pediatrics in Shenandoah, Texas. She creates a comfortable, fun setting for kids of all ages in a warm, welcoming environment.
Dr. McConnell earned her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. She received her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, where she also completed a pediatrics residency. Following medical training, Dr. McConnell obtained her board certification in pediatrics.
She maintains her medical credentials with continuing education to stay up to date with the latest advances in pediatric medicine.
As a mother herself, Dr. McConnell understands children’s and parents’ concerns and insecurities and how to make the experience of going to the doctor’s office less scary for kids.
