Sejal Patel, MS, PA-C, is a nationally certified physician assistant. She is one of the highly-skilled interventional pain management clinicians on the team at University Pain Medicine Center, with offices throughout New Jersey.
After earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey, Sejal completed the physician assistant program at Seton Hall and graduated with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She went on to work at New Jersey Anaesthesia Associates/Saint Barnabas Medical Center as an obstetrics/anesthesia PA. Sejal has been practicing in the field of pain management for over a decade.
Sejal has worked directly with Dr. Demesmin for the past eight years, seeing patients in the office daily. Not only does Sejal perform routine follow-ups for both her own and Dr. Demesmin's patients, but she also devises treatment plans to help those they treat receive efficient and effective care.

Didier Demesmin, MD, MBA, is an interventional pain medicine physician who is board-certified in both anesthesiology and pain medicine. He is the medical director and founder of the University Pain and Spine Center, with offices throughout New Jersey.
Dr. Demesmin earned his medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey, where he received the prestigious award for Academic Excellence in Anesthesiology. He completed an interventional pain medicine fellowship program at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons/Mount Sinai Morningside in New York City.
