Dr. Krishnan was absolutely one of the kindest and most empathetic doctors I’ve ever worked with. He listened to my concerns and he helped control my pain, which was pretty bad at the beginning coming out of surgery as well as theShow more week after until my follow up when we got the Robo Tronics up and running, and I will say that both Kevin from Robo Tronics and Dr. Krishnan make a great team! I would highly recommend him to anyone that is experienced the pain I have had over the last 20 years. And ironically, I met one of the nurses who also had the Robo Tronics installed in her neck and I asked her if she mind telling me what it was for and she told me it was for mental health and I was absolutely amazed to hear that it treats mental health issues, such as anxiety and depression, etc. so once again I would give him 10 stars if I could as well as his PA Leslie, she’s so warm and easy to talk to and explained everything to me at the beginning as well as at my follow up visit everyone on the staff, including Daisy, At The Front Desk we’re just amazing! sincerely, Stephanie Oliva

Dr. Krishnan earned his medical degree from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) in Manipal, India, graduating in 1998 with honors. He moved back to New York City for his anesthesiology residency at the Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn and stayed on as chief resident in anesthesiology.
In 2004, Dr. Krishnan completed his fellowship in pain medicine and regional anesthesia at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics (UIHC) in Iowa City, Iowa.
At Island Interventional Pain Management, Dr. Krishnan treats patients with back and neck problems, including sciatica and spinal stenosis. He also specializes in managing challenging pain conditions like complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS). Treatments include innovative biologics such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections.

I am presently being treated for Back Pain & Sciatica and going through diagnostic testing to locate which degenerative spine & disc disease is causing my pain. Dr. Krishman has a skilled approach to treat my condition's in a minimum invasive procedure. He also has a cordial bedside manner and explains in layman terms my conditions and outcomes.
