Basem Abdelfattah, MD, is double board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Abdelfattah, commonly known as Dr. A, earned his medical degree at Texas Tech University before completing a residency in anesthesiology and a fellowship in pain management at Loyola University in Chicago. As a border medicine preceptor, Dr. A worked with patients in underserved communities to determine the best way to meet their medical needs.

Dr. Tareen is a double ABA board-certified Anesthesiologist and Interventional Pain medicine specialist at Chronic Pain Relief. He sees patients from the practice’s offices in Dallas and Plano, Texas.
Dr. Tareen received his undergraduate degree from TCU, followed by his Doctorate of Medicine from Texas A&M College of Medicine. He completed his residency training in Anesthesiology at Baylor College of Medicine, located in the world’s largest medical center. At Baylor, he worked at multiple prominent hospital systems, such as The Texas Heart Institute and MD Anderson Cancer Center.
After completing his residency training at the top of his class, he went on to receive advanced training at an ACGME-accredited interventional pain medicine fellowship at the well-renowned UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. In his fellowship year, he was awarded the 2021 Chairman’s Recognition Award as well as the Certificate of Professionalism Award.
Dr. Tareen believes in a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to treating chronic pain. His care philosophy centers around not only his patients, but also their families. He strongly values creating and maintaining the physician-patient relationship, something he feels has been lost in much of modern-day medicine.
Dr. Tareen treats a variety of musculoskeletal and nervous system disorders. He is highly skilled in the latest ultrasound and fluoroscopically guided procedures, such as epidural steroid injections, spinal nerve blocks, joint injections, radiofrequency ablations, spinal cord stimulation, and kyphoplasty. He has a special interest in minimally invasive procedures to help manage both acute and chronic pain.
Dr. Tareen is committed to relieving pain and suffering and improving the quality of life of his patients. He has a unique experience of training under many distinguished leaders in the field of pain medicine. He has been involved in research studies throughout his career and has presented at local and national conferences. Ashley Bailey-Classen is a quadruple board-certified interventional pain management physician. She graduated medical school from University of North Texas Health Science Center - Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then moved north of the Red River to complete an anesthesiology residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. After her time in Oklahoma, she then traveled to Ohio to complete a pain medicine fellowship at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic. She is a Diplomate of both the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology. She is also Board Certified in Pain Management by both the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology. After completing her training she returned to her home state of Texas to join Trinity Interventional Pain and Spine. She has a heart to view the patient as a whole and not just a collection of symptoms. Her goals are to not only relieve her patients of their pain but also return them to an improved level of functionality. In her spare time, she can be found among her horses and her dog in the barn.

About Us
At aCELLerated Interventional Orthopedics, pain management specialist, Brian Rich, MD, provides comprehensive spine and pain management services to adults at two conveniently located offices in Decatur and Wichita Falls, TX. Dr. Rich brings more than 14 years of experience as an endurance athlete and competitive cyclist to the practice. This interest and passion carry over to his efforts in interventional pain and orthopedics.
Upon earning his medical degree, Dr. Rich completed a family practice residency with a focus on sports medicine. During his time as a resident, Dr. Rich treated various levels of athletes, including hockey players and other athletes at two Division I colleges in Louisiana.
Afterward, Dr. Rich completed a sports medicine residency at the University of Oklahoma Tulsa, where he still serves as a clinical assistant instructor today.
It was during his fellowship that Dr. Rich decided to focus on interventional pain management. He uses his previous sports medicine experience to help people find relief. Dr. Rich’s primary goal is to help each individual achieve the highest level of function possible, just as he did when treating athletes.
He’s an active member of all major interventional pain societies, as well as neuromodulation societies. In addition, Dr. Rich is skilled in fluoroscopic-guided procedures and musculoskeletal ultrasound-guided procedures.
Adults can receive comprehensive care for various musculoskeletal issues, including hip pain, knee pain, back pain, neck pain, and shoulder pain. Dr. Rich also offers minimally invasive treatments, including sacroiliac joint fusion, interspinous fusion, radiofrequency ablation, and peripheral nerve stimulation.
