Dr. Radahd joined the Pain Medicine Group after completing a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at the University of South Florida and a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at Virginia Commonwealth University. She is Board Certified in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. She specializes in treatment of neck and low back pain through the use of interventional procedures and spinal cord stimulation. She also treats a variety of injuries, including back pain and osteoarthritis, with regenerative medicine. She is excited to offer her services to the community.

Christopher Weeden, MD, is one of the distinguished physicians at the Interventional Spine and Pain Institute, which has locations in Vero Beach and Palm Bay, Florida. Board certified in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology, Dr. Weeden completed his residency and pain medicine fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine. His extensive training encompasses a broad range of pain management techniques, which he employs to provide patient-centered care aimed at alleviating pain.

Dr. Weeden, a native of Tallahassee, Florida, earned his undergraduate degree in mathematics and chemistry from Emory University. He then obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Central Florida College of Medicine in Orlando. Following this, Dr. Weeden returned to Atlanta for his residency in anesthesiology and subsequent pain medicine fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine, where he received both academic and practical training in aspects of interventional pain medicine.

His expertise includes a multidisciplinary approach to treating various pain conditions, such as acute and chronic post-surgical pain, neuropathic pain, musculoskeletal pain, and cancer-related pain. With his training placing a special emphasis on cancer-related pain and advanced therapies, Dr. Weeden employs a range of multidisciplinary and targeted interventions to address diverse pain issues effectively.

Dr. Weeden is dedicated to enhancing his patients functionality and quality of life, focusing on activities that bring them joy. Michael Esposito, MD, founded the Interventional Spine & Pain Institute – located in Vero Beach and Palm Bay, Florida – in order to create a multidisciplinary, patient-centric practice to treat a wide range of acute and chronic pain syndromes. Dr. Esposito is double board-certified in pain medicine and anesthesia by the American Board of Anesthesiology and is an expert in all aspects of pain medicine. 

Dr. Esposito leverages his pain medicine specialty to help patients manage even the most complex pain, treating a wide variety of pain types with comprehensive, personalized, and evidence-based care. He treats chronic and acute pain, including cancer pain, neurological pain, and musculoskeletal pain, while offering each patient a personalized interventional treatment plan that may include tailored physical therapy, medication, and fluoroscopic/ultrasound-guided interventional pain and spine procedures. Dr. Esposito’s journey began at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, graduating with Honors, before attending Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. There, he completed his Doctor of Medicine degree before moving on to complete his residency in anesthesiology in the Department of Anesthesia and Critical Care at The University of Chicago Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Esposito went on to complete an interventional pain medicine fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital, in Boston, Massachusetts, where he also worked as an anesthesiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital serving veterans in the same capacity at the Veterans Affairs West Roxbury Hospital.

With a passion for teaching, Dr. Esposito extends his expertise to others by serving as an Assistant Professor of anesthesiology at the University of Central Florida and is a resource for medical students, residents, and fellows. He also serves as a key board member for several professional societies, regional organizations, and national boards that are dedicated to advancing treatments in the field of pain medicine. He’s also actively involved in research to find new, minimally invasive ways to treat spinal pain and has served as principal investigator, expert faculty, peer reviewer, and lecturer for several clinical research studies, well-respected journals, and at various nation-wide conferences. Dr. Esposito has greatly contributed to the advancements in pain management technology, patient education forums, and improved patient outcomes, garnering numerous accolades, awards, and recognition for his work, reinforcing his tireless dedication and commitment to advancing treatments in the field of pain medicine.

Lane Peterson, D.O. offers an array of treatment options for numerous pain conditions at Florida Pain Medicine locations in Zephyrhills, Wesley Chapel, and Brandon, Florida. Dr. Peterson is double board-certified in Interventional Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation by the American Board of PM&R. Since 2008, he has specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal and neurological pain of the head and face, spine, pelvis, and limbs. He performs interventional pain treatment procedures including epidurals, facet joint/medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation, sympathetic nerve blocks, neurostimulator implantations, and peripheral musculoskeletal and nerve blocks.

Dr. Peterson understands that each person who seeks treatment from him has a unique pain experience and history. He believes that a successful outcome starts with empathetic listening, thorough investigation, establishing an accurate diagnosis, and crafting an individualized plan for treatment. He utilizes a multi-factorial approach to treatment which aims to identify and address the underlying issues which led to the development of pain and to break the vicious circle of pain at as many points as possible.

Dr. Peterson graduated with honors from the University of Iowa with bachelor’s degrees in Biological Sciences and Physics. He then earned his medical degree at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Peterson credits his foundational training in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine for developing his sensitive palpatory diagnostic skills which he uses to locate the source of pain.

Following medical school, Dr. Peterson lived in Miami, Florida for a year, where he completed a traditional osteopathic rotating internship at Westchester General Hospital. He completed his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Georgetown University Hospital/National Rehabilitation Hospital program in Washington, DC. While he was there, his training sites included the National Institutes of Health and Walter Reed Army Hospital, where he felt humbled to be able to care for soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.

Dr. Peterson completed his American Council of Graduate Medical Education-accredited Pain Medicine fellowship training at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in Richmond, Virginia. Following this, he joined the teaching faculty as an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, teaching fellows and residents while working at the Hunter Homes McGuire Veterans Administration Medical Center. He later practiced medicine in Overland Park, Kansas before recently relocating to Tampa.

In his spare time, Dr. Peterson enjoys spending time with his family, singing karaoke, and tinkering with electronics and computers.
