Anthony Lee, MD, believes in finding the best non-operative and personalized treatment for every patient at Synergy Rehabilitation & Wellness Center in Scottsdale, Arizona. As a physiatrist, Dr. Lee holds board certification in physical medicine and rehabilitation, as well as the subspecialty of pain medicine. He has extensive training and experience in the benefits of physical therapy, and as a holistic practitioner, he helps patients maintain wellness with nutritional and lifestyle support.
Dr. Lee earned his Bachelor of Arts in microbiology from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. Then he returned home to Georgia, where he received a Master of Science in Microbiology from Georgia State University in Atlanta.
After finishing his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia, Dr. Lee completed his residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. During his training, he proudly served as chief resident for two years. Dr. Lee went on to complete a sports medicine and interventional spine fellowship at Southwest Spine and Sports in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Since 2010, Dr. Lee has been named a Top Doc seven times by Phoenix Magazine, most recently in 2016 and 2019. He has served as a board member for the Maricopa County Medical Society and as the President of the Arizona Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Lee has served in many community organizations, including as a board member for Asian Corporate and Entrepreneur Leaders, a group that focuses on developing leaders from the Asian American community. He later earned his medical degree from the University of Arizona and went to Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California, to finish his internship and residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation. While there, Dr. Baker received the Internal Medicine Resident of the Year award for his work ethic and commitment to compassionate care and served as chief resident. He completed his undergraduate studies at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in nearby Indiana, Pennsylvania. During his undergraduate studies, he was fortunate to study abroad in Cuernavaca, Morelos, in Mexico and become proficient in conversational Spanish.
Upon graduation from college, he obtained his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and went on to complete his anesthesiology residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. Due to his hard work and leadership skills, he was elected to be chief resident his final year. Dr. Malayil then completed his interventional pain management fellowship at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, where he learned from some of the most well-respected leaders in the field of pain management.

Jennelle began her education at the University of Central Florida located in Orlando, FL, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Serafini earned a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Marietta, Georgia. He attended the University of Pittsburgh for is Bachelors degree. He holds an Arizona state license to practice chiropractic, with a certification for physiotherapy, termed physical medicine modalities and therapeutic procedures.
When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Serafini devotes his time to educating the community about the benefits of chiropractic. He is a keynote speaker for the Foundation for Wellness Professionals. He also has served as the official chiropractor of the Gateway Pro Golf Tour.

Dr. Anne-Marie Cosijns received her medical degree, graduating Magna Cum Laude, from the medical program at the University of Antwerp in Belgium, Germany. Dr. Cosijns then completed three years of Emergency Medical Residency at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY where she became, board certified in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Cosijns worked in emergency medicine for eight years before furthering her education to be a Diplomat of the American Board of Pain Medicine in 2002.
