Laura Steininger, DPT, CAPP-OB, Cert-DN, is a skilled pelvic physical therapist and the owner of Inland Pelvic Health & Physical Therapy in Hayden, Idaho.
Originally from Duluth, Minnesota, Laura graduated from The College of St. Scholastica. She traveled the world as a student and later as a traveling physical therapist. Through her travels, Laura discovered Coeur d’Alene and settled in its beautiful landscape – here, Laura began her pelvic health empire!
Laura is passionate about pelvic health and desires to create a clinic specializing in men’s and women’s pelvic rehabilitation. During her pregnancy and postpartum time, she recognized that women were not receiving sufficient care concerning pelvic dysfunction. This motivated her to start studying and taking additional courses.
All of Laura’s pelvic health training has been done post-doctoral, and she is committed to learning as much as possible. She is certified in obstetrics (CAPP-OB) and dry needling (Cert-DN). Through extensive training in women’s pelvic health, endometriosis, menopause, men’s pelvic health/prostatectomy, and visceral manipulation, Laura now mentors and trains all of her staff and supports each of them to progress their pelvic health education. The team often does group training throughout the year to ensure everyone working at Inland Pelvic Health offers the best pelvic health rehabilitation.

You can find Laura exploring the mountains and lakes when not in the office. She spends her time skiing, boarding, SUPing, kayaking, hiking, and camping. Laura is the proud mom of a young son and the bonus mom of a son and daughter!
After graduating from Lakeland High School in Rathdrum, I attended Boise State University, achieving a degree in Kinesiology with emphasis in Exercise Science and Biomechanics. I then attended University of New England in Portland, Maine. It was there, thanks to a professor that specialized in pelvic health, that I discovered my love for helping people with pelvic health dysfunctions. I graduated with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2020 and have been working to help a wide variety of patients with pelvic health conditions since.
I have a passion for helping patients realize that they do not have to live with the pelvic health dysfunction, “just because it’s common doesn’t mean it’s normal” is a motto I live by. I work to empower you, as the patient, during your healthcare journey. I love being a cheerleader and strategic coach as I help you achieve your goals. Outside of physical therapy, you’ll most likely find me curled up with a book, or enjoying the outdoors.
