Through active- listening , thoughtful questioning and examination I am able to provide patients with the best treatment plan for their specific ailment/ injury with the latest evidence-based approach. I am available to active patients daily through the patient portal to answer any questions, or make any clarifications necessary. Emma Phipps is a Physical Therapist Assistant that pursued all studies at Surry Community College. She fell in love with this compassion focused career after receiving Physical Therapy in high school after a bad car accident that left her unable to compete in sports. Her passions currently involve pediatrics, myofascial release, and post surgical rehab. When not at Protherapy, you can find her riding horses, hiking with her dogs, and supporting her husband Zach’s golf endeavors. She loves to serve, and her goal is to bring smiles to all
Debbie obtained a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science as well as a Master of Education degree from the University of Georgia. After teaching Health and Physical Education for 7 years, she then received her Master of Physical Therapy degree from Winston-Salem State University followed by her transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University. She has worked in a variety of settings in physical therapy including acute care, outpatient, nursing home, and spent many years providing home health services in Rockingham County. Along with her physical therapy career, she frequently teaches tumbling and sport-specific skills to children of all ages as well as provides personal training. As a former collegiate gymnast and cheerleader at the University of Georgia, her passion is skill development and functional physical therapy.
