During his career, Daniel has had the opportunity to work on the medical team for numerous events such as: USA Track & Field Olympic Trials, IAAF Track and Field World Championships, USA Track & Field National Championships, Nike EYBL Peach Jam, SLAM Summer Classic and Quicksilver Pro Surfing Championships. His focus is to advance patients in rehab with a smooth transition back to sport while educating to prevent future injuries and to live better, longer.
Dr. Katherine Kalaj, PT, DPT earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from City University of New York Hunter College. Kat has a wide range of experience working with orthopedic, sports, and neurological clients to rehabilitate after injury. This experience, in addition to her six years as a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified trainer and two years as a competitive powerlifter, informs her biopsychosocial approach to treatment as she creates an individualized plan of care that considers the whole person to help individuals achieve all their movement goals. Kat’s favorite aspect of physical therapy is collaborating to create mobility and strength training programs that help people reach their full potential. Outside of the physical therapy, Kat enjoys competitive powerlifting, cooking, and exploring the city.
Alexa Trontz earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from New York Medical College. She has experience treating a wide range of orthopedic and neurological conditions across various clinical settings. She has worked with patients of all ages and is passionate about helping each individual return to their prior level of function, whether that means getting back to sports, work, or daily life without pain. Alexa takes a personalized, one-on-one approach to care, creating individualized treatment plans that align with each patients specific needs and goals. She incorporates performance training into her sessions to help patients not only recover but also optimize movement and prevent future injury. She emphasizes a strong therapeutic alliance, patient education, and long-term functional outcomes in every session. Outside of the clinic, Alexa enjoys running, working out, and spending quality time with friends and family.
