Russ Poker, PT has been a therapist since 1992 primarily in private practice specializing in general orthopedic care with a focus on neck and back related issues.  He graduated from SUNY at Stony Brook for Physical Therapy and hold degrees in Physical Education from Adelphi University and the Wingate Institute in Israel. Russ speaks Hebrew, Spanish and French which he finds helpful in communicating with his patients. I support all of the therapists at the Great Neck location, along with the techs and the front desk. Dr. Darnell Peters, PT, DPT graduated from Andrew’s University with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2010. He has since worked in various settings from acute care, inpatient rehab, outpatient clinics, aqua-therapy, and home care and has over 10+ years of experience as a PT.

Stelios Liotopoulos, PTA joined Reddy Care Physical Therapy in December of 2008, however, he began practicing in 1994. Stelios enjoys his career and his ability to interact with his patients. Stelios moved to the United States in 1989 when he was 22 years old and began working for his uncle in the fur import and export business. While working there, he attended classes to learn English. In his free time, he played soccer as it was a passion of his since he was young. Stelios played on a semi-professional team in both Greece and the US, and his passion for sports spurred his interest in physical education and exercise physiology which he studied at Queens College. Over time, he because more familiar with physical therapy as a profession and later switched majors to pursue his degree as a physical therapy assistant from LaGuardia Community College. Over the last 25 years, he has been practicing physical therapy. Stelios has also taken many continuing education courses that involve manual techniques. The techniques he has learned allow him to enhance the way he treats his patients and help to improve their recovery to get them back to their daily activities free from pain and discomfort.

As the eldest son in the family, Dr. Somareddy decided to honor his father’s own dedication to patient care, naming his practice after him. Dr. Somareddy’s father, nicknamed “Reddy,” worked as a nurse at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he garnered a reputation for his knowledge, perseverance, and compassionate patient care. Mithun has a diverse clinical experience and has worked with a variety of patient populations including outpatient orthopedics and post-operative rehab, young athletes, geriatrics, neurological injuries and wound care cases. While in school, he worked with the United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps to provide valuable PT services to the underserved Native American populations living in rural Arizona.

He is also greatly interested in the field of public health and PT advocacy which lead him to pursing his MPH degree. While at NYMC the focus of his Doctoral project was to determine what kinds of personal and financial factors limit a patient from seeking PT treatment for non-specific low back pain. While working with the USPHS he also took initiatives in raising awareness of the opioid crisis as well as public education about Physical Therapy. Antonette Cabello, PT went to physical therapy school in the Philippines and has been practicing in a variety of patient settings for over 34 years.
