Hello, My name is Brett Koehn, physical therapist at Ozzie Smith IMAC Regeneration Center in Springfield, MO. I'm a native of Enid, Oklahoma where I grew up working in my family's auto parts store.
I attending University of Tulsa to earn my degree in Exercise and Sport Science. At Tulsa, I ran track and cross country. Some of my Cross Country and Track teammates were from Australia and New Zealand and suggested I attend graduate school overseas.
Knowing I didn't want to pursue a career in the auto parts business, I took a long 16-hour plane ride to Australia and lived there for 3 years while attending the University of Queensland. While I'm happy to be back in the USA, I do miss the beaches, the coffee, and of course seeing koalas and kangaroos.
Most people don't realize it, but a lot of manual therapy techniques originated in Australia. When I found out that manual therapy was the focus at Advantage Therapy - now Ozzie Smith Center. I knew right away this would be a good fit!
Jeremy Graddy, DPT is a physical therapist at the Ozzie Smith IMAC Regeneration Centers in Springfield, MO. Upon graduation from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO, Jeremy worked for a large hospital system treating a variety of injuries, but his desire to learn manual therapy techniques and a holistic approach to medicine led him to Advantage Therapy (now Ozzie Smith Center) in 2015. His clinical expertise includes: work comp injuries, sports medicine and rehab, balance/vertigo treatment, and chronic pain. Jeremy is certified in the LSVT Big Program, Amino Neuro Frequency Therapy, Primal Reflex Release Technique, and more. Jeremy enjoys spending time with his wife and children.
I am a Nebraska native, but moved to Springfield a few years ago to play basketball and volleyball at Drury University. Following graduation, I decided to pursue a degree in physical therapy and chose Missouri State University Doctor of Physical Therapy. I graduated from MSU in 2017 and discovered Advantage Therapy, which is now the Ozzie Smith Center! My background in athletics, and my own ACL reconstruction in high school led to me a career in PT. Prior to considering PT, I was in a pre-pharmacy program but quickly learned while working in a pharmacy that I wanted more patient interaction and to work in a dynamic clinic setting rather than a cold, white room. Chronic pain is one of my therapeutic interests, and I am anxious to learn more manual therapy techniques to bring much-needed relief to people struggling with chronic pain. Besides chronic pain, I am very interested in treating sports injuries as well as neurological rehabilitation.
