Stephanie is a licensed mental health counselor with over 15 years of experience providing psychotherapy to adults and couples. Before relocating to South Florida, she ran a successful private practice in Portland, Maine, where she worked extensively with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. She also has specialized training in treating trauma-related disorders, including PTSD, as well as eating disorders. Stephanie’s therapeutic approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, attachment-based therapy, and EMDR to create a personalized, evidence-based treatment plan for each client. She is passionate about helping individuals develop emotional resilience, process past experiences, and create meaningful change.
Stephanie holds both a Master’s in Clinical Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Southern Maine, where she graduated with high honors. A firm believer in the importance of self-care, Stephanie encourages her clients to cultivate balance in their lives. She is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive space for those seeking healing, growth, and lasting emotional well-being. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys tennis, playing guitar, painting, and spending time in nature—one of the many reasons she was drawn to Florida’s sunshine and coastal lifestyle.
