I served as a pediatric speech-language pathologist in the public school setting for 13 years. I was excited to embark on a new professional adventure as I opened my own pediatric private practice speech-language clinic on May 31, 2016. I strive to provide the highest quality speech & language therapy services for your child, ages 1 through 21. Parental involvement and skill practice outside of the therapy setting are both essential to patient success, so I regularly incorporate these elements into my services. Human communication is a right for all, so I have chosen to make providing the tools for effective communication my mission.
“Kristin is wonderful with my son. She is so knowledgeable and communication is always open and supportive. I highly recommend her speech and AAC services to anyone who expresses interest.”
"I am dedicated to enhancing children's communication skills through personalized speech and language evaluations, targeted therapy, and comprehensive dyslexia assessments for a strong foundation in language and literacy."
I completed my master's degree from the University of Northern Iowa and grew up in the Fox Cities. In my free time, I love running, reading, spending time with family, watching sports, being on the lake with my dog, and binge-watching Netflix.
Being a speech-language pathologist has been my dream since I was 18 years old. Working with families and other professionals feels like being on a team, where every member has a role to play in achieving the common goal of making the child successful. It's a fulfilling experience when we all work together to reach the child's objectives.
“Sadie is great! My son’s speech has improved so much. He not only likes speech with Sadie but he looks forward to it every week when we have our appointment. Everyone I have met at Therapy time is kind and understanding and willing to answer any questions I had along the way. I have recommended it to people I work with who have little ones struggling with their speech. It is a great resource for parents looking to help their child learn and grow. :)”
Hi there! My name is Ashley Mogensen, and I am a speech therapist here at Therapy Time for K.I.D.S.
Some of my interests include infant and pediatric feeding disorders, apraxia of speech, and augmentative communication. I also enjoy working with those in the Down syndrome and autism communities. Along with my degree, I have received training in PROMPT, Beckman Oral Motor, SOS Approach to Feeding, Myofunctional Therapy and various courses related to infant feeding difficulties. I also have training and knowledge of TOTS (tethered oral tissue), and have experience in school and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) settings.
My professional philosophy is "All children are unique, so assessment and treatment must mirror their individual qualities. When working with a child, we need to be compassionate and offer them a safe space while taking their likes and dislikes into consideration for the most successful outcome."
“Ashley is so good with my daughter. She can be picky who she works with and never looked back when switching to Ashley. We have seen so much improvement in the last 3 months I couldn’t be happier! Thank you Ashley!”
I began working at Providence Speech & Language Services immediately after graduation in May 2023. I strongly believe that everyone has a voice to be heard. Therefore, I strive to provide the highest quality speech & language therapy services for your children, ages 1 through 21. My goal is for my therapy space to be a place where progress is valued over perfection, every mode of communication is equally respected, and all victories are celebrated - big or small. Human communication is a right for all, so I have chosen to make providing the tools for effective communication my mission.
“We have had a great experience with Ann Jane! Our son is talking more, and every time he attends a session, it is a valuable and uplifting experience.”
