Dr. Martinez earned his doctoral degree at the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) in 2017. He completed clinical internships at Mayo Clinic Scottsdale and Cleveland Clinic Ohio.

Dr. Kristen Keener, AuD is an expert Audiologist who specializes in the treatment of tinnitus and other sound sensitivity disorders at the IlluminEar Tinnitus & Audiology Center in Austin, Texas. Trusted and valued by all of her patients, Dr. Keener has over eighteen years of experience treating patients with such serious sound sensitivities as hyperacusis and misophonia across Texas, including Austin.
Dr. Keener’s Education and Experience
Dr. Keener earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Indiana University in 1994. Two years later, she received her Master’s Degree in Audiology from Purdue University and went on to gain her Doctorate in Audiology from A.T. Still University in 2007. Dr. Keener’s training focused on a wide field of expertise, including such categories as assessing hearing loss, conserving hearing ability and providing treatment for a number of hearing disorders.
As a member of a number of professional Audiological Associations, Dr. Keener has become a valued member of her professional community over her nearly two-decade long career.
