Calvin W. Plumb, DC, is a 2005 graduate of Parker College of Chiropractic. He brings his clinical expertise in biomechanics, manipulation, dry needling, and soft tissue therapy to provide conservative, non-invasive, and effective treatment of acute musculoskeletal injuries, postural abnormalities, and chronic pain for patients of all ages. Dr. Plumb serves the community of New Braunfels, Texas, at Lonestar Medical.
Dr. Plumb has served as a Texas Designated Doctor since 2012. In 2018 Dr. Plumb was appointed to the Texas Worker’s Compensation Medical Quality Review Panel. In addition, Dr. Plumb serves as a Subject Matter Expert for the Texas Department of Insurance Division of Worker’s Compensation. Dr. Plumb is a member of the TDI faculty providing education to both chiropractors and medical doctors in the Worker’s Compensation system.
Dr. Plumb is an avid fly fisherman, hunter, leather crafter, and barbeque cook. He enjoys scuba diving with his wife Sandra and spending quality time with his dog Daisy as well as his three cats, Audrey, Olivia, and Sammie.
Dr. Torres has dedicated most of his adult life to learning and researching about the causes of chronic degenerative diseases. Seeing his mother and family struggle with many different health issues has given him a motivation to be patient first doctor. Dr. Torres comes from a unique background of being brought up from very humble beginnings in San Antonio, going to chiropractic school, medical school and earning his PhD. He understands the need for holistic care and has joined both science and compassion in his approach to care. Dr. Torres leads a healthy lifestyle by exercising 5-6 times per week doing Crossfit, running, cooking and eating clean. Most importantly he enjoys giving back to his community in San Antonio through his Non-Profit Organization that helps support patients that are reliant on medical intervention for survival. Dr. Alissa L. Aranda graduated from Parker University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy, Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness and a Doctorate in Chiropractic. Dr. Aranda is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and holds licensure in Texas by the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners. She is a corrective exercise specialist and holds a CES certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, who is experienced with musculoskeletal injuries due to trauma. She is trained in the Webster Technique, which is a technique used in chiropractic care for pregnancy.
