Karem is a certified physician assistant, specializing in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. She received her Bachelor of Science from George Mason University, with a double major in Biology & Psychology, and earned her Master of Physician Assistant degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School. 

Karem gained multiple years of clinical dermatology experience as a Medical Assistant at this very practice, Integrated Dermatology of 19th Street, before earning additional clinical experience while undergoing rigorous dermatology and plastic surgery rotations during Physician Assistant School. Dr. Clinzo Mickle is a board-certified dermatologist with fellowship training in Cosmetic, Laser and Dermatologic surgery. His clinical interests include the diagnosis and treatments all aspects of medical dermatology as well as cosmetic dermatology. 

Dr. Mickle was an honor graduate from South Carolina State University and received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina where he was the recipient of numerous academic scholarships. He completed his intern year at Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia and went onto complete a specialized research fellowship in dermatology at Duke University Medical Center. He also completed a one-year Melanoma Clinical Fellowship at the Washington Hospital Center before starting his dermatology training at Howard University Hospital where he was elected as Chief Resident. 

After residency, Dr. Mickle completed a prestigious fellowship in laser, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology in Boston, Massachusetts where he was trained by dermatologic surgeons from Harvard, Yale, and Boston University. 

He has presented nationally and has served as an author of several articles as well as a text book chapter in Comprehensive Dermatologic Drug Therapy. Dr. Sebastian DeMarco is a board-certified Dermatologist and fellowship trained Mohs surgeon. He was born and raised in Greenville, North Carolina. His undergraduate education was completed at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated with highest distinction and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society as a Junior. After college, he attended medical school in his hometown with the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Sanna Ronkainen, M.D, F.A.A.D. is a board-certified dermatologist. Dr. Ronkainen is a Northern Virginia native, born and raised in Fairfax County. She graduated from St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes School in Alexandria, and earned her B.A. in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at Rice University in Houston, Texas.
