Allison Jaekle is a Board Certified Physician Assistant specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Allison was born and raised locally on Long Island. She attended Binghamton University for her undergraduate degree in History with a concentration in Public Health. She then attended Touro College for a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and a Master in Physician Assistant Studies, where she received the Leadership, Academic, and Clinical Achievement awards upon graduation.
She is currently an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, New York State Society of Physician Assistants, and the Society for Dermatology Physician Assistants. Allison has always had a true passion for dermatology and is honored to be part of the SINY Dermatology team. Peter Saitta, DO, is a board-certified dermatologist at the Skin Institute of New York (SINY®). Dr. Saitta treats adult and pediatric patients at SINY’s® three offices, in New York City’s West Village and the Bay Ridge and Park Slope areas of Brooklyn, New York.
After earning a bachelor of arts degree from New York University in New York City, Dr. Saitta received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, New Jersey. He then completed his residency at Oakwood Seaway Hospital in Trenton, Michigan, in affiliation with Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. While in residency, Dr. Saitta served as chief resident and earned numerous national awards for academic excellence and leadership.
Dr. Saitta is an internationally recognized lecturer and published author on dermatology topics such as hair loss, acne, and the psychological effects of skin diseases. He trained with one of the most highly regarded acne experts in the world and also served as clinical research director on crucial studies related to acne, which led to the development of cutting-edge acne-treatment technologies that are now available to SINY® patients.
Dr. Saitta is an active member of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and also serves as a national committee member for the dermatology resident in-service examination. Although he provides comprehensive dermatology treatment for all of his adult and pediatric patients, his special areas of expertise include skin cancer screening and treatment, hair loss, acne, and rashes of the hand, face, and scalp.
Sydney Liang, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She specializes in medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology with an emphasis on delivering compassionate, high quality, and patient-centered care. She has a special interest in the prevention and surgical management of skin cancers, the treatment of acne and acne scarring, rosacea, psoriasis, cosmetic injectables, and laser treatments and resurfacing.
With a strong educational background and rigorous training, Dr. Liang completed her undergraduate degrees in cell biology, genetics, and human development at the University of Maryland, earning early acceptance to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society as a Junior and graduating with the highest honors of summa cum laude. While earning her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine in New York City, Dr. Liang was elected as a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and graduated top of her medical school class. She then completed her residency in dermatology at the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology at New York University Langone Health. While in residency, Dr. Liang earned multiple awards for academic excellence, leadership, and research and received the Morris Leider MD Award for the “Best All-around Resident” at the end of her training. Ronald R. Brancaccio, MD, founded the Skin Institute of New York (SINY®) in 1979. He diagnoses and treats a wide variety of skin conditions at SINY’s® three offices in the West Village of New York City and the Bay Ridge and Park Slope areas of Brooklyn, New York.
After earning his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., Dr. Brancaccio completed an internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He then completed his residency in dermatology at the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center in Portland, Oregon.
Dr. Brancaccio is board-certified in dermatology, and he is a clinical professor at New York University School of Medicine in New York City. When he’s not tending to patients at SINY® or teaching future dermatologists, he lectures on dermatology-related topics and has authored more than 40 scholarly publications, primarily on the subject of skin allergies.
Currently serving on the board of directors of the American Contact Dermatitis Society and the New York State Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery, Dr. Brancaccio has also served as president of the New York Dermatologic Society, the Bay Ridge Medical Society, and the Dermatologic Society of Greater New York, He maintains active memberships in those professional organizations as well as the American Academy of Dermatology and the Annenberg Circle Committee for the Dermatology Foundation, which supports vital dermatology research. In addition, he is an honorary member of the Brazilian Society of Dermatology and the Canadian Dermatology Association.

Shirley Xu, DNP, FNP-BC is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University at Buffalo and her Master’s degree and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Columbia University.
Shirley Xu sees patients for dermatology concerns including but not limited to eczema, acne, rosacea, hair loss, and psoriasis as well as aesthetic and procedural treatments. She is dedicated to treating patients with an individualized approach. Dr. Parinita Amin, affectionately known as Dr. Pari, is the CEO of MDCS: Medical Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery, a premier dermatology practice with locations in New York and New Jersey.
An alumna of Harvard College, Dr. Pari went on to earn her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she was honored with membership in the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She further honed her medical expertise during an internship at Beth Israel Medical Center, followed by a rigorous residency in radiology at NYU Langone Medical Center.
With a background as an accomplished diagnostic and procedural radiologist, Dr. Pari brings a unique blend of clinical acumen and leadership to her role. Toral Vaidya, MD, MPH, is a dermatologist serving New York City patients on the Upper East Side and Midtown Manhattan at MDCS Dermatology. She performs a wide variety of medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology services.
Dr. Vaidya completed her undergraduate and graduate education at the University of Cincinnati in the BS/MD Dual Admissions Program in Medicine. She earned her MD and Master’s in Public Health from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. During medical school, Dr. Vaidya was selected for a prestigious clinical research fellowship in dermatology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where she conducted studies in oncodermatology and procedural dermatology. She graduated at the top of her class with a Distinction in Dermatology. She then completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital and her residency in Dermatology at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Throughout her training, she developed a keen interest in skincare, skin of color, and cosmetic dermatology. She has authored over 20 scientific publications in prominent dermatology journals and has presented her work at national and international meetings. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the Skin of Color Society, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Dr. Vaidya is a media expert who regularly writes for and contributes to medical and beauty publications, including Medscape Dermatology, US News and World Report, and Byrdie Beauty. Additionally, she pursued an elective in medical journalism at the ABC News Medical Unit, where she helped produce medical segments for Good Morning America and wrote digital articles.

Monica Schadlow, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist at MDCS Dermatology: Medical Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery, who has been providing general and cosmetic dermatology care to patients of Manhattan since 2001. She has extensive experience in laser hair removal, peels, Botox, Restylane, Juvederm, and numerous other skin enhancement and rejuvenation services.
In addition to her unmatched skill and knowledge, patients praise Dr. Schadlow for her gentle nature and willingness to educate them about their condition.

Michael Tassavor, MD, MS, is a board-certified dermatologist and attending physician at MDCS: Medical Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery withoffices in the Midtown East and Upper East Side neighborhoods of New York City, as well as Smithtown, Commack, Hampton Bays, and Plainview, New York, and Clifton, Marlboro, and Englewood, New Jersey.
Dr. Tassavor provides medical and cosmetic dermatology care and performs highly specialized Mohs surgery to treat skin cancer.
After earning his Bachelor of Science in molecular and cell biology at the University of Connecticut (UConn) in Storrs, Connecticut, Dr. Tassavor completed a Master of Science in biomedical sciences at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts.
He continued his schooling at the UConn School of Medicine in Farmington, Connecticut, earning his Doctor of Medicine. He completed a one-year medical internship at Tufts Medical Center in Boston before relocating to New York City for his dermatology residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Then, Dr. Tassavor completed his micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology fellowship training with Brett Coldiron, MD, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Dr. Tassavor is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), a resident member of the New York State Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery (NYSSDDS), and on the coding and reimbursement committee of the AAD.
Dedicated to his profession, Dr. Tassavor has published multiple scientific studies in peer-reviewed journals and authored a chapter in a dermatological surgery book.
