Joanna Trigg DO is a Board Certified Dermatologist who treats both adult and pediatric patients. She is a native New Yorker who grew up in Brooklyn and attended Bishop Kearney High School. After graduating summa cum laude and earning a bachelor’s degree in biology with minors in chemistry and psychology from Wagner College, Dr. Trigg received her medical degree from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. She then completed her residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Queens, New York in affiliation with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.

During her residency, Dr. Trigg attended, presented and lectured at many conferences. She also served as Chief Dermatology resident during the final year. Training in New York City gave her exposure to a very large and diverse patient population.

Dr. Trigg is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American College of Osteopathic Medicine. and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Theresa Durchhalter, DO, is a board-certified dermatologist serving patients at Allure Dermatology in Hicksville, New York. She specializes in general and cosmetic dermatology and has experience treating adult and pediatric patients with a wide array of skin disorders, including acne, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, alopecia, and skin cancers. 

Dr. Durchhalter is a native of Long Island, New York, with a long-standing commitment to her community. She graduated Magna cum Laude from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York, with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. 

In 2016, Dr. Durchhalter obtained her medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia, where she graduated as a member of the Sigma Sigma Phi honors fraternity. Upon completion, she returned to New York to complete her dermatology residency at St. John’s Episcopal, where she was appointed chief resident.
