Josef Yeager, MD, FAAD, is an experienced board-certified dermatologist serving patients at Shady Grove Dermatology in Rockville, Maryland. Dr. Yeager has been practicing in Maryland since 1990.
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina in Columbia and his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He completed his internship at Spartanburg Regional Hospital in South Carolina.
Dr. Yeager served in the United States Navy, where he trained as an aviation medical officer. Later, he completed his residency in dermatology at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, and became a member of the teaching staff there.
Besides treating patients, he contributed to resident education and published over 50 articles on research studies and case reports. He was the principal investigator on two research projects that the National Institutes of Health sponsored; he taught as an associate professor of dermatology at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences, and he was an assistant professor of clinical dermatology at Georgetown University.
Dr. Yeager also enjoyed serving as a dermatology consultant to the United States Congress. In addition, he was a reviewer for the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.
He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a fellow of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and a member of the International Society of Dermatology, the Washington D.C. Dermatological Society, and the American Medical Association. He was named one of the “Top Doctors” in the Washingtonian Magazine.

Caroline E. Yeager, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist at Shady Grove Dermatology in Rockville, Maryland.
Dr. Caroline Yeager was born at the Naval Hospital and raised in Bethesda, Maryland. She spent grades three to twelve at the Holton-Arms School, where she graduated as the ranking scholar (valedictorian) and as a National Merit Scholar.
She then attended Princeton University in New Jersey, where she graduated summa cum laude and majored in classics with a certificate in medieval studies. At Princeton University, she received the Shapiro Prize for Academic Excellence and the Classics Department’s Atkins Prize for best senior thesis. Dr. Caroline Yeager is a member of Princeton University’s Phi Beta Kappa honor society.
Dr. Caroline Yeager attended Duke Medical School in Durham, North Carolina. She was the recipient of a Howard Hughes Medical Institute NIH Research Scholarship, which brought her back to Bethesda to do research at the National Human Genome Research Institute at NIH. She continued to research chemotherapy-induced hair loss when she returned to Duke.
She received her medical degree in 2011. While there, Dr. Caroline Yeager was awarded membership into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honorary society for her outstanding scholarship as well as leadership. In addition, Duke University Hospital awarded her the “Strength, Hope and Caring” Award for her dedication to compassionate patient care; it had never before been awarded to a medical student instead of a resident doctor or nurse.
Dr. Caroline Yeager came back to the Washington, D.C., area to do her internship at the George Washington University Hospital, where she received the Internal Medicine Preliminary Intern of the Year award and the George Washington University Hospital Service Excellence Pillar Award.
Dr. Caroline Yeager completed her training at Emory Medical School in Atlanta, Georgia, for her dermatology residency, from which she graduated in June 2015. During her third year of residency, she served as the Curriculum Chief Resident for Emory University Dermatology Residency.
Alina Gerasymova is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in Dermatology. She graduated summa cum laude with a master’s degree in biology from Donetsk State University in Ukraine. Earlier in her professional life, she had careers in science education and advertising before moving to the United States in 2008.
Alina earned her Physician Assistant certificate from Anne Arundel Community College and a Master of Health Science from the University of Maryland in 2017. Since November 2017, Alina has been dedicated to dermatology, performing full-body skin examinations, surgical procedures, and cosmetic treatments. She evaluates and manages a wide range of dermatologic conditions and has a particular interest in acne, rosacea, and hair loss. She is also a strong proponent of proactive screening and early detection of skin cancers.
Alina is passionate about promoting healthy skin and believes that patient education and engagement are key to achieving better outcomes and improving adherence to treatment plans. Her goal is to provide exceptional care in a compassionate, welcoming environment where open dialogue and patient comfort are prioritized.

Sanders H. Berk, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist who has been practicing dermatology for 40 years. He currently works at Shady Grove Dermatology in Rockville, Maryland.
Dr. Berk received his medical degree from the University of Maryland in College Park with honors. He completed his internship and dermatology training at the University of Miami in Florida under Dr. Harvey Blank.

Dr. Omolara Olowoyeye, MD, MPH, is a Board-Certified Dermatologist at Radiance Dermatology, a premier cosmetic, medical, and surgical dermatology practice in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Olowoyeye earned her bachelor’s degree in Genetics, Cell, and Developmental biology from the Ivy League Dartmouth College and later went on to earn a Master’s in Public Health degree.
She earned her medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine and completed her residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital Department of Dermatology. Dr. Wang graduated with an A.B. in American Studies and English from Georgetown University and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. She received her M.D. from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and completed her internship in Internal Medicine and her residency in Dermatology at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
Dr. Wang brings unparalleled focus in cutaneous oncology. She has authored numerous publications and spoken nationally in her area of expertise. Dr. Wang is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and Maryland Dermatologic Society (MDS).

Adrianna Gonzalez, MD, FAAD, is an expert dermatologist at Metroderm DC: Medical, Laser, and Aesthetic Dermatology Center in downtown Washington, DC. She practices general, pediatric, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.

Board-certified dermatologist Todd Perkins, MD, practices medical and procedural dermatology with a particular interest in surgical and cosmetic dermatology, as well as immunotherapy for skin disease. Olivia Schenck, M.D., F.A.A.D. is a board-certified dermatologist. She was born and raised in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Dr. Karlyn Pollack, M.D., F.A.A.D, is a board certified dermatologist. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia, where she graduated with distinction, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with a specialization in Biochemistry.
