A Massachusetts native, Dr. Houston received his undergraduate education at Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia. He graduated medical school from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where he was a member of the Arnold P. Gold Humanism Honor Society. He then completed dermatology residency at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, where he served as a chief resident in his final year.
Dr. Houston is committed to establishing relationships with his patients that are based upon listening and open communication, with a focus on improving quality of life. Yvonne Hines, MD, is the founder and medical director of Hines Dermatology Associates Inc. in Attleboro, Massachusetts, where she oversees the medical assistants, lab technicians, and staff, in addition to providing her patients with top-quality medical care.
Dr. Hines earned her medical degree in 1976 from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. She pursued postgraduate training at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s in New York City (which is affiliated with New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center), Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City, Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, Rhode Island (formerly an affiliate of the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University), and the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Dr. Hines is highly skilled in a number of medical specialties. She became board-eligible in internal medicine in 1981, board-certified in dermatology in 1983, and board-certified in dermatopathology in 1984. She’s a fellow of both the American Society of Dermatopathology and the American Academy of Dermatology.
Outside of her work at Hines Dermatology Associates Inc., Dr. Hines also served as a clinical instructor at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, from 1985 to 1994.
