Johanna Espenschied, MHS, PA-C, is an experienced physician assistant who has specialized in dermatology for over 12 years. She is a Florida native and grew up in Brevard County, where she happily cares for her hometown community.
Johanna attended the University of Central Florida where she earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology, with a minor in environmental studies. She attended the University of South Alabama, in Mobile, Alabama for her Master’s degree in Health Sciences. Johanna is board-certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants, and licensed by the State of Florida Board of Medicine.
Johanna practices medicine with empathy and compassion. She enjoys getting to know her patients and creating a trusting relationship between patient and provider. Johanna strives to educate her patients, so they have the knowledge to be their own health advocate. Her passion for education also led her to work for over a year as graduate faculty in the Physician Assistant program at AdventHealth University, where she taught and inspired future healthcare providers. Johanna still serves as an adjunct professor.

Michael Spicer, M.D., F.A.A.D., is a leading dermatologist, dedicated to providing skilled, compassionate care for patients throughout the Brevard County area. He completed his internship in pediatrics at the University of Maryland, before returning to UMDNJ where he completed a residency in dermatology and a fellowship in dermatopathology.
