After earning a bachelor of science degree from SUNY Stony Brook University, Dr. Petrosian received his medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYCOM/NYITCOM) in Westbury, New York. He then completed his residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Queens, New York in affiliation with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Petrosian attended, presented and lectured at many conferences as a resident, he also received many scholastic accolades in that time. During his residency Dr. Petrosian consistently scored amongst the top percentile in the nation on in-service examinations. He trained with and received mentorship from various experts in many fields of dermatology who practice here in New York City. His training in New York City gave him exposure to a very large and diverse patient population.

She attended Binghamton University for her undergraduate degree in History with a concentration in Public Health. She then attended Touro College for a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and a Master in Physician Assistant Studies, where she received the Leadership, Academic, and Clinical Achievement awards upon graduation.

Dr. Sarah Yagerman is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon. She practices medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology in NYC and has a special interest in dermatologic oncology. A skilled, caring practitioner, she believes in an individualized and holistic approach to each patient and their skin. She enjoys all aspects of dermatology. Jason Wilder, DO, is a board-certified dermatologist. At Adult & Pediatric Dermatology Specialists in Trumbull and Westport, Connecticut, he provides patients with compassionate and effective care.

Brooke Hatfield, PA-C, is a board certified Physician Assistant. At Adult & Pediatric Dermatology Specialists in Derby and Trumbull, she provides compassionate, high quality care to all of her patients.
Brooke graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison followed by her Master’s degree of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University.
Brooke previously worked in dermatology and aesthetics in the Chicagoland area since graduating from Physician Assistant school in 2020. Her passion for dermatology drives her to continuously educate herself on new research and treatments, and she specializes in treating a variety of skin conditions including eczema, pre-cancerous lesions, and acne. Brooke also has extensive cosmetic training in Botox, Juvaderm, microneedling, and the laser treatment of blood vessels and hair removal.
Providing care to underserved populations is very important to Brooke. While in PA school, she spent time on a Navajo reservation in New Mexico providing assistance in general surgery, educating patients about chronic illness, and providing care in a wound clinic. She grew up in Southern California and graduated as a Presidential and Renaissance scholar from the University of Southern California. She subsequently moved to New York to earn her medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College. During medical school, she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and a recipient of the Glasgow-Rubin Memorial Achievement Award honoring select women for academic achievement.
Dr. Shah completed her internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and her dermatology residency at New York-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center. In her final year, she served as Chief Resident. Following residency, she completed subspecialty fellowship training in Mohs micrographic surgery, cutaneous oncology, and reconstructive surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Weill Cornell Medicine. She then became Director of Mohs Micrographic Surgery at Northwell-Lenox Hill Hospital.
Dr. Shah's primary clinical focus is the management of skin cancers including squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, early-stage melanoma, and rare cutaneous tumors. Sahar Y. Naseer, MD, is a talented dermatologist at MDCS Dermatology: Medical Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery in Smithtown and Hampton Bays, New York. With her extensive background in research, she brings fresh ideas to the table for each of her patients’ treatment plans. A member of the American Academy of Dermatology, she was selected to be a part of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society due to her skills and achievements.
Dr. Naseer earned her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, where she graduated with honors in 2009. She then moved south to Washington, DC, to attend Georgetown University for her master’s degree in biophysiology. After completing it in just one year, she moved to New York to earn her medical degree through The State University of New York Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and Buffalo University, where she graduated summa cum laude.
After finishing her formal education, Dr. Naseer continued training with a pediatric preliminary year at Cohen Children’s Medical Center/Northwell Health in Queens, New York. For her postgraduate year two, she moved back to Buffalo, New York, for a dermatology residency. She continued with another dermatology residency at Brown University Alpert School of Medicine in Providence, Rhode Island.
Dr. Naseer’s many awards and distinguishments across her education, training, and budding career speak for themselves. She earned multiple awards at Buffalo University for her excellence in research and earned the American Medical Women’s Association Glasgow-Rubin Certificate of Commendation. At MDCS, she continues to stand out as an outstanding leader and treats her patients with kindness and compassion.
When she isn’t in the office assessing skin conditions or educating patients on how to care for their skin, Dr. Naseer loves to spend her time traveling, swimming to stay in shape, and improving her cooking skills.
Michelle W. Ma, MD, FAAD is a Board Certified Dermatologist who completed her residency through the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in June 2017.
