Sherry H. Hsiung, MD, is a board-certified dermatologic surgeon at the Skin Institute of New York (SINY®). Dr. Hsiung also practices general and cosmetic dermatology at SINY’s® three New York City–area offices, in the city’s West Village and in the Bay Ridge and Park Slope areas of Brooklyn, New York.

At the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Dr. Hsiung earned undergraduate degrees in both biology and chemical engineering, graduating with honors. While earning her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania Medical School in Philadelphia, she was a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She then completed her residency in dermatology at New York University School of Medicine in New York City, serving as chief resident.

Dr. Hsiung retains active memberships in the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and she has lectured on dermatology topics at local and national conferences. She serves as a medical editor for the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology and is a consultant for the Kiehl’s Dermatology Advisory Board.

As a crucial part of the SINY® medical team, Dr. Hsiung specializes in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, a surgical technique used to treat skin cancer, focused on removing all of the cancer cells while preserving the healthy tissue in sensitive areas such as the face, hands, feet or genitals. She completed a prestigious fellowship in Mohs surgery with Dr. Perry Robins at NYU, and she is an active member of the American College of Mohs Surgery. Dr. Rebeca Teplitz is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She provides expert care for a diverse range of skin, hair, and nail conditions for patients of all ages.

Dr. Teplitz graduated magna cum laude from the George Washington University with a degree in cognitive neuroscience and a minor in business administration. She earned her medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. She went on to complete her internship in Family Medicine and her Dermatology Residency at St. John's Episcopal Hospital, where she excelled as Chief Resident.

Dedicated to continuous learning and advancement in dermatology, Dr. Teplitz regularly contributes to research and has authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals. She serves on the editorial board for SKIN The Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology. A board-certified dermatologist with decades of clinical experience, Dr. Brancaccio diagnoses and treats a wide range of dermatologic conditions affecting the skin, hair, and nails.

Throughout his career, he has combined patient care with academic leadership, dermatology research, and physician education. Ashley Llera is a board-certified Physician assistant who brings not only extensive dermatology experience but also a deep understanding of her native South Florida community. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she is committed to providing exceptional care to patients from diverse backgrounds.

Ashley is a graduate of the University of Miami, where she earned her degree in 2012 and was an active member of the TriBeta Biological Honor Society. She went on to complete her Physician Assistant education at Florida International University, graduating in 2017 as part of the inaugural class. Ashley’s accomplishments during her time at FIU include Capstone Research Gold Level Excellence, Second Overall Clinical Year Performance, and the Peer Award of Excellence.

With over 7 years of experience in dermatology, Ashley has worked alongside Dr. Joseph Seber in Medical, Surgical, and Cosmetic Dermatology. Her clinical expertise and compassionate approach to patient care have earned her the trust of many.

Ashley is also a Diplomate Fellow with the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) and serves as a preceptor for Physician Assistant students from Barry University, helping to shape the future of dermatology practice.

Dr. Brazen is a native Floridian from Clearwater, FL. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Florida State University before moving back home to complete his Master's degree in Medical Sciences at the University of South Florida. Dr. Brazen went on to complete medical school at Nova Southeastern University, and subsequently stayed in Southeast Florida to complete his three-year Dermatology Residency at Broward Health Medical Center.

There he received extensive training in general and complex medical dermatology, surgical dermatology, Mohs micrographic surgery, injectable fillers, lasers, and Botox. During his residency, Dr. Brazen was elected to serve as Academic chief resident, an honor awarded to the top residents in their class. During his residency, Dr. Brazen published papers in many academic journals and was recently elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Florida Academy of Dermatology. Additionally, he serves as a delegate for the Florida Medical Association. Outside of the office, Dr. Brazen is an avid golfer, scuba diver, and fisherman. He loves to spend time with his family and their pet Sheepadoodle, Goose.

Joseph F Seber, MD is a Board-Certified Dermatologist at Luminary Dermatology.  Dr Seber sees patients at the North Miami Beach, Florida location.

After earning his undergraduate degree from Rutgers and his medical degree from Boston University of Medicine, Dr Seber completed his Internship in Internal Medicine at U.S Public Heath Servies Hospital University of Maryland Medical Center.  He completed his Residency at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

He will continue seeing patients in the same location in North Miami Beach where he has practiced since 1985.

Dr Seber is a member of several medical associations including the American Medical Association, The American Academy of Dermatology and the Dade County Medical Association.

Phyllis Skolnik, MD, is a Board-Certified Dermatologist at Luminary Dermatology. The dermatology practice has 10 locations, and Dr. Skolnik sees patients at the Kendall office in Miami, Florida.

After earning her medical degree from New York Medical College (NYMC) in Valhalla, New York, Dr. Skolnik underwent residency at The University of Miami’s School of Medicine in Miami.

Following these accomplishments, she completed a year-long fellowship training in treating acne vulgaris. Since then, Dr. Skolnik has been practicing dermatology for nearly 50 years and applying her dermatological skills in Miami.

Dr. Skolnik has been blazing trails in the world of dermatology for over 50 years, most of which she spent building a thriving dermatology practice, Phyllis Skolnik, MD, PA.

Now part of Luminary Dermatology’s team of expert providers, Dr. Skolnik plans to continue seeing patients for the remainder of her career in the same location in Miami where she’s spent the past five and a half years.

The Kendall office in Kendall’s MCH Medical Center will now carry the name Luminary Dermatology. Still, patients will be happy to see the same familiar faces they’ve come to know over the years.

Born and raised in upstate New York, Nadia earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from St. John Fisher College of Nursing. She then moved to Florida and earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Keiser University and holds certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she gained valuable experience working as a registered nurse in dermatology, where she developed a solid foundation in medical skin care. After earning her MSN, she chose to continue working in dermatology as a nurse practitioner, building on the experience and passion developed during her years as a registered nurse in the specialty.

Outside of work, Nadia enjoys spending time with family and friends and being outdoors.

She is an active member of The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners (NADNP).

George Glinos, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist serving patients at Dermatology of Miami in Miami and Miami Lakes, Florida. As a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, he brings extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, alopecia, and skin cancer. Originally from Orlando, Dr. Glinos earned his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Florida before completing his medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She brings a unique combination of surgical precision, clinical expertise, and aesthetic artistry to her patients at Integrated Dermatology of West Palm Beach in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Dr. Herne earned her medical degree from the University of Texas at the Houston Health Science Center, followed by an internal medicine internship at Loyola University in Chicago. She then completed a clinical research fellowship in dermatology and virology at the University of Texas in Galveston and a dermatology residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
