Dr. Steele is a native of Texarkana, Texas. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology at Texas A&M University. He received his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and completed his internship and residency there as well. Dr. Javadi was born in Iran and grew up in Houston, Texas.  She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin and went on to obtain her Master's from Texas State University.  She received her medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine and completed her Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Albany Medical Center in New York.  

She moved back to Houston to complete her Fellowship in Hepatology at The University of Texas Medical School in Houston, where she stayed on as an Attending Physician. 

After moving to Los Angeles in 2006, Dr. Javadi worked as Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California (USC).  She subsequently accepted an Assistant Professorship at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine to care for patients with Liver disease, and continued to train Residents and Fellows.  

Dr. Javadi eventually moved back to the Los Angeles area and joined ProDigest Gastroenterology & Hepatology Associates, to continue caring for patients with liver disease.  She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is a member of American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases.
