Dr. Memon is an experienced gastroenterologist who specializes in diagnosing and treating liver disorders and digestive diseases such as colitis, Crohn’s disease, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). He’s also adept with endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy and endoscopy.
After earning his medical degree at Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, Dr. Memon remained in the city to serve as the house officer in medicine and general surgery at Civil Hospital Karachi.
Dr. Memon then relocated to the United States to complete his internship in internal medicine at State University of New York (SUNY) Health Sciences Center in Syracuse, New York.
He then completed his residency in internal medicine and neurology at Wayne State University-Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Memon went on to do his fellowship training in gastroenterology at Henry Ford Hospital (now Henry Ford Health System) in Detroit.
Dr. Memon is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology and is a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology (FACG).
He’s also a professional member of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), the American College of Physicians (ACP), and the Texas Medical Association (TMA).
Dr. Memon is fluent in English and Urdu. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and socializing with friends.
Allison Harrington Sirakos, MD, is a skilled board certified gastroenterologist providing expert care in San Antonio, Texas, at the Gastroenterology Clinic of San Antonio. Dr. Sirakos manages all gastrointestinal disorders but has expertise in colon cancer screening , liver disease, acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and other disorders of the gut-brain interaction.
After earning her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, Dr. Sirakos relocated to New York, completing her internal medicine residency at New York University (NYU) Grossman School of Medicine in Manhattan.
Dr. Sirakos returned to Texas to finish her gastroenterology fellowship training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. During her final year of training, she served as the chief of education.
Dr. Sirakos is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and holds a license to practice medicine in Texas.
