Abraham Chacko, MD, provides gastrointestinal health services to patients at Pelvic Floor Institute, located in Spring, Texas. His aspiration is to "provide complete and thorough care to his patients while taking the time to listen to their needs.

Dr. Chacko grew up in Philadelphia, where he completed his Bachelor of Science and a minor in Spanish at Villanova University. After college, Dr. Chacko worked in research for a year in the Immunology Department at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He remained in Philadelphia and attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey which is now Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship at Riverside Medical Center which was affiliated with Midwestern University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Chicago. 

Dr. Chacko's clinical interests include but not limited to chronic GERD and other esophageal disorders, IBS, diseases of the pancreatic and biliary systems, women's digestive disorders as well as performing advanced endoscopic procedures such as RFA for Barrett's Esophagus and ERCP.  Dr. Rohan Modi joins the team of expert providers at Gastro Office, serving patients throughout Hilliard, Ohio. Dr. Modi is a former Buckeye who earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati (2015). Dr. Gholami is an experienced gastroenterologist who specializes in all aspects of gastroenterology and liver disease. He is an expert in diagnostic, therapeutic, interventional endoscopy, and is particularly passionate about complex pancreatic and biliary diseases. Dr. Gholami completed medical school with honors at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Board-certified gastroenterologist Richard Riegel, MD, sees patients at Gateway Gastroenterology in Chesterfield, Missouri. He strives to provide unparalleled care aimed at improving the digestive health of his patients.

A native of St. Louis, Dr. Riegel graduated with honors from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine. He then completed both his Internal Medicine internship and residency at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. 

From Vanderbilt, Dr. Riegel returned to St. Louis to complete three additional years of medical training in the Division of Gastroenterology/Hepatology at Saint Louis University.

Dr. Riegel is an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association.

Dr. Riegel has participated in the education and training of medical house staff at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center. He has a diverse practice specializing in all aspects of general gastroenterology, hepatology, and endoscopic procedures. He has been in private practice since 1997. He stayed at Washington University to complete his Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship.

Neeraj Sachdeva, MD, is an accomplished gastroenterologist on the team at Wake Endoscopy. He is proud to serve patients throughout Raleigh, Wake Forest, Cary, Clayton, and Wilson, North Carolina. 

Dr. Sachdeva grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated with honors from the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, a magnet school of math and science. He pursued his medical training mainly in New York, completing his medical degree and internal medicine residency training at New York Medical College. 

After residency, Dr. Sachdeva served on the medical faculty at New York Medical College before relocating to Chapel Hill. He completed his training with a fellowship in gastroenterology from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Sachdeva is board-certified in both gastroenterology and hepatology.

He joined the practice right after graduating from UNC.  The majority of his practice is concentrated in the North Raleigh and Wake Forest area. Some of his clinical interests include inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, high-risk colo-rectal cancer, and hepatology. He presently serves as the Director of Endoscopy at Wake Endoscopy Center.

Dr. Sachdeva lives in Raleigh with his wife and two daughters. In his free time, he is very active in managing “dads-N-daughter” activities. Some of his personal interests include biking, rafting, and traveling with his family.

Dr. Christopher Schwarz is a Michigan native. He graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit with his medical degree.  He completed his internal medicine residency at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago before relocating to the Southeast to do his fellowship in gastroenterology at the Medical College of Virginia.  Dr. Schwarz is board certified in gastroenterology and hepatology. 

He joined the group in 1998.  Some of his clinical interest include biliary and pancreatic diseases, therapeutic endoscopy, and inflammatory bowel disease.  Dr. Schwarz has been involved with fundraising for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, and the Cancer Hospital at Rex Healthcare.

He lives in North Raleigh with his wife and has four children.  He enjoys traveling and water sports with his family, foreign travel, as well as drawing and sculpture.  Dr. Schwarz is also proficient in Spanish.  He and his family attend Open Door Baptist Church.

Jason Haas, D.O. is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to all his patients.  He has strong communication skills which allow him to connect with patients, staff and colleagues. 

 

For the past eight years, Dr. Haas has been a gastroenterologist practicing in Springfield, Missouri with Cox Medical Clinic.  He is a board-certified gastroenterologist that completed his GI Fellowship training at Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee, WI and his Internal Medicine Residency at Gundersen Health Care in LaCrosse, WI.  

 

His wife is from. St. Louis, and in their spare time Dr. Haas enjoys traveling with her and their two daughters.  Dr. Haas has been a member of the Colorectal Awareness Party in Springfield, which helps raise money and provide free colonoscopy evaluations for patients in need.

Board-certified in gastroenterology and hepatology, Brian McMorrow, MD, is our Physician Director at Gateway Gastroenterology Research.  In this capacity, Dr. McMorrow is only evaluating and caring for patients who are interested in or enrolled in the various clinical trials at our research affiliate. 

Dr. McMorrow completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California – Davis, earning his Bachelor of Science degree. From there, he moved to Missouri to pursue his medical degree at St. Louis University, where he would later also complete his internal medicine residency.  

A member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Dr. McMorrow prioritizes ongoing education and makes every effort to stay on top of the latest developments in his field. 

When he’s away from the office, Dr. McMorrow is an avid runner, hiker, and part-time soccer coach. He welcomes new patients to Gateway Gastroenterology and looks forward to providing them with top-quality care.
