Dr. Sachdeva is an excellent and caring doctor. I had an office visit with him a few years after a colonoscopy with a different G.I. practice. He was sincerely concerned about my specific situation and questions. He took extra timShow moree with me when he learned I could pull up a genetic counseling letter from my brother’s cancer a few prior. Because of his careful listening, Dr. Sachdeva changed the plans for my office visit (using more of his and his staff’s time) which resulted in my own clearer understanding of my needs for that time and put me at ease to wait 1.5 years until the five-year mark for my next colonoscopy. On June 18, I had my colonoscopy with him. Also, I was eager and happy to schedule my husband‘s colonoscopy with Dr. Sachdeva. We could not be more pleased with his bedside manner and competency as a doctor. I am glad I took the time to read reviews and the resounding praise for Dr S has proven true by our experiences. I am truly thankful to be cared for by Dr Sachdeva!

Neeraj Sachdeva, MD, is an accomplished gastroenterologist on the team at Wake Endoscopy. He is proud to serve patients throughout Raleigh, Wake Forest, Cary, Clayton, and Wilson, North Carolina.
Dr. Sachdeva grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated with honors from the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, a magnet school of math and science. He pursued his medical training mainly in New York, completing his medical degree and internal medicine residency training at New York Medical College.
After residency, Dr. Sachdeva served on the medical faculty at New York Medical College before relocating to Chapel Hill. He completed his training with a fellowship in gastroenterology from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Sachdeva is board-certified in both gastroenterology and hepatology.
He joined the practice right after graduating from UNC. The majority of his practice is concentrated in the North Raleigh and Wake Forest area. Some of his clinical interests include inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, high-risk colo-rectal cancer, and hepatology. He presently serves as the Director of Endoscopy at Wake Endoscopy Center.
Dr. Sachdeva lives in Raleigh with his wife and two daughters. In his free time, he is very active in managing “dads-N-daughter” activities. Some of his personal interests include biking, rafting, and traveling with his family.

I had my 1st colonoscopy today Dr. Sachdeva was very friendly and thorough. The whole process was fast and efficient! Everyone at Raleigh Radiology from the check in desk to the nurses and anesthesiologist were amazing!

The entire process from start to finish with Dr. Sachdeva's office was seamless. Dr. Sachdeva was very professional and detailed in explaining with his findings of the Colonoscopy procedure. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a great doctor!
The entire staff made an unpleasant procedure more tolerabe. They were kind and professional. I would 100% reccomend.
Process was smooth, instructions were clear. Only issue is they were very behind. Waited in gown about 1hr before going back for procedure.

As much as the prep work for this procedure is not fun in any way, the team at Wake Endoscopy is amazing. I was extremely comfortable and cared for each part of the procedure.

Colonoscopies are certainly not the most fun things to do, but necessary. I was pleased with the staff of this practice for the most part. I would give this practice a higher rating if the could have returned my calls mor quickly, but I do understand my questions were not emergencies, but important to me. My only complaint with Wake Forest Endocopic center was no vending machines available to my driver who was also not allowed to leave the building! A simple snack machine or drink machine would have been really helpful. Otherwise their staff was wonderful.
