I'm so grateful to finally have a gastro doctor that I can actually get in to see. I've had no issues scheduling appointments and actually feel as if I'm being heard by my doctor. before I've always been made to feel as if my charShow moret/file or referral was all that mattered, that any information I wanted to add to what was in black and white, was of no importance and need not be discussed. procedures were always considered at someone else's convenience. I am so happy to have a voice in my care with Dr.Nuako Thanks to Advance Gastro for seeing me, and for letting me join them on my healthcare journey.
Today, my colonoscopy was my 5th procedure with Dr Nuako’s clinic in Union Coty, TN. Everyone was very helpful, especially Riley and Lori. I would like to say a special thanks to them for being so nice.
Dr. Kofi Nuako is the medical director and president of Summit Endoscopy Center, and he provides expert diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal conditions at Advanced Gastroenterology in the area of Union City, Tennessee.
He also oversees two other clinics that are part of his practice: The MediSpa and Summit Weight Loss, where patients receive comprehensive weight loss services including meal replacement.
Dr. Nuako received his medical degree from the University of Ghana Medical School. He completed his residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore, then did a fellowship in gastroenterology at Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education in Rochester, Minnesota. He's board-certified in internal medicine with a specialty in gastroenterology and is a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine.
With experience in advanced gastroenterology spanning more than 20 years, Dr. Nuako’s patients rely on his expertise in endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy, upper GI endoscopy, and capsule endoscopy. He also helps each patient return to optimal health with the highest quality treatment and individualized care that addresses the underlying cause of their symptoms.

He explains your procedure very well.
I feel as though Dr. Nuako was very unprofessional and disregarded everything I had to say. He also told me “Sometimes it’s okay for people to not eat” and proceeded to look me up and down with disgust after I told him I haven’t been able to keep any food down in 13 days. I have a witness to this. Needless to say he will not get my money or service again and I pray he doesn’t treat everyone how he treated me. You know your body if he’s done this to you it’s okay to go somewhere else and get a second opinion. Thank you, Good day.
