Thorough yet quick
Gateway Gastroenterology welcomes Siri Ancha, MD who will be joining us in August, 2025. She will provide personalized and comprehensive gastrointestinal care for her patients with the goal of improving their health and quality of life.
Dr. Ancha was raised in southwest Missouri as the daughter of a gastroenterologist. She committed early to a career in medicine and graduated from the accelerated BA/MD program at the University of Missouri Kansas City.
She then moved to St. Louis to complete her Internal Medicine Residency, Chief Residency, and Gastroenterology Fellowship at Washington University/Barnes Jewish Hospital.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Ancha enjoys spending time with her husband and family, exploring the St. Louis culinary scene, and traveling.

Very open minded. She was considerate concerning the need for a therapeutic plan of health and healing.

Sarah was thorough and knowledgeable although at the end, I felt rushed when I had questions. I realize it is a busy office and I get it however it would be nice to not be cut off when talking. Tamera, who scheduled my appointment for testing at St. Luke’s Hospital was amazing. Very kind and had a lot of information to my questions. Also, the phlebotomist whose name I did not get was fantastic and was able to get my blood drawn on the first try without pain!

The F.N.P. I met with was very attentive and easy to talk too. A negative of the practice is the doctor I was going to left the practice and his customers were not informed. When I tried to see another doctor I was told it would be a three month wait. I guess there is always the emergency room if needed. I was happy that I was able to talk to Mrs.Aubuchon that only took a month to see her. I have now reestablished myself with another doctor in the group.
