With his advanced training in primary care and urgent care, Josh Shajan, MD, is the go-to provider for patients and their families in and around Greenwich, Stamford and areas. He cares for patients at Greenwich Primary Care in the Cos Cob neighborhood of Greenwich, and serves as Medical Director of the practice. 

After attending Bergen Catholic High School, Dr. Shajan earned admission to an 8-year BS/MBA/MD program, completing his bachelor’s degree at Union College in Schenectady, New York, his Master of Business Administration through Union Graduate College, and then received his Doctor of Medicine from Albany Medical College in New York in 2012.

Dr. Shajan then completed his residency in internal medicine through the Yale University School of Medicine at Greenwich Hospital in Connecticut.

Since completing residency, Dr. Shajan has provided comprehensive primary and urgent care services continuously in Greenwich. Additionally, he has also previously served as the medical director for a network of New York City-based urgent cares, prior to joining a private practice in Greenwich in 2018. Hitesh Patel, MD is a board-certified physician specializing in internal medicine and obesity medicine. He provides expert, compassionate primary care at Premier Healthcare Associates, PC, conveniently located in a state-of-the-art facility near Ocean University Medical Center (OUMC), part of Hackensack Meridian Health, in Brick, New Jersey. 

Dr. Patel offers a wide range of services, including the diagnosis and management of chronic conditions such as thyroid disorders, heart disease, diabetes, COPD, and mental health conditions. Jessica Taff, MD, is a triple board-certified Hematologist, Medical Oncologist, and Internist.  Through her leadership role at Coastal Hematology & Oncology Center, Dr. Taff is honored to serve the communities of Toms River and Forked River, New Jersey, where she was born and raised. 

Education has always played a central role in Dr. Taff’s life. She earned her undergraduate and medical degrees at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Dr. Taff went on to complete her residency at New York University Langone Medical Center in New York City, where she was selected to serve as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine. Kunal Patel, MD, FACC is a cardiologist and varicose vein specialist at NJ Cardiovascular Institute in Elizabeth and Secaucus, New Jersey. Dr. Patel is known for his friendly demeanor and personalized care, treating each patient like a member of his own family. 

Dr. Patel completed his internal medicine training at Seton Hall University. Anastasios Manessis, MD, FACE, ECNU, ABOM, is a double-board certified physician at  Endocrine Associates of West Village PC in Murray Hill, Manhattan, and Long Island City, New York, specializing in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism and obesity medicine. Dr. Manessis has an endocrine certification in neck ultrasounds and has extensive experience in diagnosing, treating, and managing endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, hormonal dysfunction, and obesity.  

Dr. Manessis pursued his undergraduate education at Manhattan College, graduating magna cum laude with distinction in biochemistry. He earned his medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Manessis completed a combined residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at New York Medical College at Saint Vincent’s Hospital in New York. Following a year as chief medical resident, he completed a two-year clinical fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism, where his research interest, among others, involved the use of insulin pumps in patients with Type II diabetes. 

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Manessis was a faculty member in the Department of Medicine at New York Medical College from 2008-2010. He then joined the faculty of New York University in 2011. He has been involved in many clinical research projects, including long-term studies to evaluate the efficacy and safety of GLP-I agonists and weight loss agents. Dr. Manessis’ primary clinical interest includes the treatment of diabetic patients with insulin pumps and how it has benefited the well-being of patients long-term.
