She advised the patient to avoid such allergens and prescribed an Epi pen to be used in the event of a life -threatening Allergic reaction. The patient was impressed with the experience that the visit was only for Immigration purposes yet she learnt a lot about her allergens and realized how it impacted her medications and lifestyle in general. Michele Reed, DO, FAAFP, is a board-certified family medicine physician, public speaker, and best-selling author. Byoung Yang, MD, is the experienced physician and wound care specialist at BY Wound Care Internal Medicine in White Plains, New York, where he provides cutting-edge medicine with old-school care.
