While obtaining the patient's medical history, she found out that the patient had several life-threatening Allergens, some of which had a potential for adverse reactions with some of the medications that she was already taking. She advised the patient to avoid such allergens and prescribed an Epi pen to be used in the event of a life -threatening Allergic reaction. With his advanced training in primary care and urgent care, Josh Shajan, MD, is the go-to provider for patients and their families in and around Greenwich, Stamford and areas. He cares for patients at Greenwich Primary Care in the Cos Cob neighborhood of Greenwich, and serves as Medical Director of the practice. 

After attending Bergen Catholic High School, Dr. Shajan earned admission to an 8-year BS/MBA/MD program, completing his bachelor’s degree at Union College in Schenectady, New York, his Master of Business Administration through Union Graduate College, and then received his Doctor of Medicine from Albany Medical College in New York in 2012.

Dr. Shajan then completed his residency in internal medicine through the Yale University School of Medicine at Greenwich Hospital in Connecticut.

Jessica Taff, MD, is a triple board-certified Hematologist, Medical Oncologist, and Internist.  Through her leadership role at Coastal Hematology & Oncology Center, Dr. Taff is honored to serve the communities of Toms River and Forked River, New Jersey, where she was born and raised. 

Education has always played a central role in Dr. Taff’s life. She earned her undergraduate and medical degrees at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Dr. Taff went on to complete her residency at New York University Langone Medical Center in New York City, where she was selected to serve as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine. She also completed a Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at NYU Langone Medical Center, and was again selected to serve as Chief Fellow for Hematology/Oncology. 

While there, Dr. Taff was named Fellow of the Year, and selected to participate in the highly competitive research Conference  ASCO/AACR Workshop in Methods in Clinical Cancer Research in Vail, Colorado, and worked the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY.
