Melissa enjoys working with teens and adults navigating ADHD and trauma, as well as those who are ready to explore their authentic selves and begin a journey of healing and personal growth. She has experience supporting individuals facing anxiety, depression, mood and personality disorders, and OCD. Her background also includes work in a crisis residential treatment program, where she provided care to individuals experiencing homelessness or reentering the community after incarceration.

Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Long Beach, CA. I have worked in the field of mental health for the past 6 years, and most of my experience includes working with the early childhood, adolescent, and young adult populations. have worked in both community mental health and private practice settings. I am trained in evidence-based practices such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, and Managing and Adapting Practices. I am also Kink/Sex-Positive Allied and LGBTQ+ Allied as I identify as Queer myself. I most frequently use therapeutic modalities such as Humanistic/Client-Centered, Solution-Focused, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
