Before working with Dr. Laughlin, Pat was a plastic surgery nurse for 10 years. She assists with all surgeries offered at Laughlin Plastic Surgery and also performs sclerotherapy.
April Hinsberger, APRN, is one of the newest providers at Alpenglow Pain & Wellness who will be serving as a Locum Tenens Practitioner. Since graduating with her Master of Nursing, Family Practice from Seattle University in 2018, April has been practicing as an Integrative Nurse Practitioner in both Alaska and Washington.
April primarily practices in East Asian Medicine, Massage Therapy, Yoga, Herbal Medicine, Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy and Vipassana meditation. Many of these integrative specialties are complimentary to Alpenglow Pain & Wellness’s approach to Pain Management. April was born here in Alaska on the Kenai Peninsula and had spent most of her childhood there. April moved to Washington to go to school and start practicing medicine. April has decided to bring her services of providing Integrative Care back to her homeland of Alaska.

Cynthia Phillips-Johnson, AGRNP, is an adult gerontology nurse practitioner at Pioneer Peak Orthopedics in Wasilla, Alaska. She was born and raised in Washington state.
Cynthia started her career as a massage therapist in 2001, co-owning a medical massage & spa business with her spouse until 2012. She moved to Utah in 2012, obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern Utah University in 2017. Cynthia moved to Alaska in 2019 with her family, where she worked at Providence Alaska Medical Center as a full-time registered nurse. While working, she attended the University of Providence, graduating in 2023 with a Master's in nursing and becoming a certified Adult Nurse Practitioner.
When not working, she loves being outdoors with her family and two dogs. She enjoys gardening and beautifying her yard, fishing, rock hounding, long drives, and dancing.

Hello! My name is Cori Escalante. I offer craniosacral therapy (CST): all ages, all stages – from infants to elders. In 2012 I became a certified massage technician in the state of California and began studying CST in 2014. I have experience as a therapist in a variety of settings: at a family healing center, at chiropractic offices, day spas, training gyms, and for the performers of Cirque Du Soleil: IRIS. I now have a private practice – Vibrancy - and specialize in craniosacral therapy.
