Humaira Quraishi, ND, MS, is a naturopathic doctor serving patients at her practice in Fort Lee, New Jersey. She aims to inspire, empower, educate, and treat her patients’ health issues.

Born in Pakistan, Dr. Quraishi immigrated to the United States with her parents when she was 4 years old. She has traveled to Pakistan throughout her life to visit family, and during that time, she gained an awareness of health and wellness in both countries. There were differences but also similarities, such as doctors quickly seeing patients without proper care or guidance into their lifestyle as well as the lack of education about illnesses. 

With these in mind, Dr. Quraishi knew there was more to health than just prescribing medication to mask symptoms. She wanted to get to the root of the problem and help prevent diseases in the first place. Thus, she began her quest into naturopathic medicine and nutrition.

Dr. Quraishi graduated with her Bachelor of Science in biology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She then pursued her Master of Science in nutrition at the University of Bridgeport Nutrition Institute before earning her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the University of Bridgeport School of Naturopathic Medicine.  

During her time in Bridgeport, Dr. Quraishi interned at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Philadelphia and worked with many naturopathic physicians in the fields of kidney disease, food allergy, gastroenterology, and general health. She is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and New Jersey Association of Naturopathic Physicians.

William D. Dr. Alison R. Maloof is originally from Western Massachusetts. After spending time living and working in Florida, California, and the United Kingdom, she moved to Chicago, Illinois where she received her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from National University of Health Sciences. Dr. Maloof completed a two-year accredited residency in Vermont after medical school. Since childhood, Dr. Maloof has had an interest in the healing arts, but it wasn’t until she started teaching yoga and doing extensive volunteer work that she found her way into medicine. She has a passion for helping others. Dr. Maloof opened Atlas Naturopathic Health Center in 2021. She is thrilled to be working in the beautiful State of Maine and to call this place home. Stefani Hayes ND, LAc, (she/Her) is a highly respected clinician at Seven Dragons Integrative Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Cameron Komisar, ND, (he/him) is in his first year of a post-graduate fellowship under the mentorship of Dr. Stefani Hayes at Seven Dragons Integrative Medicine in Portland, Oregon. His clinical focus is on men's health and male fertility, two rapidly growing areas within integrative medicine where he brings both curiosity and compassion to care. Before pursuing medicine, Dr. Cam earned his Bachelor's degree in Economics from Middlebury College and spent five years in real estate. However, after experiencing naturopathic medicine as a patient and witnessing truly patient-centered care for the first time, he felt called to dedicate his life to helping others feel seen, heard, and supported on their health journeys. This led him to earn his Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon.

Dr. Alaina Goesling  is a licensed Naturopathic Physician at Open Wellness PDX and specializes in naturopathic gastroenterology. She is also a Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Gastroenterology (FABNG), reflecting advanced post-doctoral training and expertise in naturopathic gastroenterology.  She is passionate about gut health and believes many GI conditions can be treated by using evidence-based alternative treatments. She is currently taking new patients through telemedicine.  Dr Goesling is licensed both in the state or Oregon and the state of Washington and is accepting new patients from both states.

 

A proud alumna of Bastyr University in Seattle, WA, Dr. Goesling's educational journey has equipped her with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in her field. She completed a comprehensive two-year residency program under the guidance of Dr. Ilana Gurevich through the National University of Natural Medicine at Kwan Yin Healing Arts, training in primary care and specializing in naturopathic gastroenterology.

With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Gurevich specializes in holistic approaches to complex gastrointestinal conditions. She helps restore the body’s natural ability to heal when conventional methods have failed to address the root cause of pain or disease.

David Chang, ND, LAc, is a board-certified naturopathic physician and acupuncturist at Open Wellness PDX in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Chang has extensive experience providing primary care, chronic pain management, and traditional Chinese medicine services. 

Dr. Chang was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and he spent part of his childhood there before relocating to beautiful Ashland, Oregon, and then to Portland. Eric Blake, ND, Dipl. Ac., is an expert naturopathic physician and the medical director of Portland Clinic of Holistic Health, providing care in Downtown Portland, Oregon. Dr. Blake treats all ages, and patients with a variety of conditions can benefit from his holistic, cutting-edge treatments such as Bio-Thermal Therapy®. 

Dr. Blake received his Bachelor of Arts in anthropology from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. He presented his undergraduate work on cross-cultural medicine and religion in Cairo, Egypt at an International Conference in 1992. Upon graduating, he was an herbalist in Cincinnati as well as working alongside an experienced Japanese acupuncturist in New York City. Dr. Blake went on to complete his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) at the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM). His special area of research was interviewing and training with long practicing expert Naturopathic Physicians, some of who had been practicing since the 1930s.  He was trained in many rare and hard to find clinical treatments and procedures. He also completed a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon, where he did his thesis on classical Chinese and naturopathic medicine. 

Dr. Blake is a certified massage therapist, certified exercise trainer, and he is a certified Diplomate in Acupuncture (DAc) by the National Certification Committee for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). He is a member of the Oregon Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians. Dr. Blake is a three-time recipient of the Benedict Lust Award from NUNM, recognizing his community leadership in naturopathy. 

Dr. Blake has spoken at congresses around the world in Paris, France, London, England, Barcelona, Spain, Czech Republic, and at state and national conferences across the United States,  on naturopathic treatment of cancer, digestive diseases, diabetes and the use of naturopathic physiotherapy. He has been published on multiple occasions in physiotherapy teaching textbooks for physicians, professional textbooks, and is the co-editor and contributing author of Naturopathic Physical Medicine (2008). He was a contributing author to the clinical textbook Fibromyalgia Syndrome a Practitioners Guide to Treatment (2009) and Chronic Pelvic Pain and Dysfunction (2012). 

Since 2006, Dr. Blake has served as the chief attending physician and medical director of the Outpatient Naturopathic Medical Clinic at the Portland Clinic of Holistic Health. He is also part of the adjunct academic faculty at NUNM as a supervisor of resident physicians and teaching the history of American naturopathic professions.
