Madelyn González, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN with over 10 years of experience providing comprehensive women’s health care, including pregnancy, gynecological conditions, and preventive wellness. She is dedicated to offering personalized, compassionate, and expert care to patients at the office of Lorena Tinoco, MD, located in South Miami and Coral Gables, Florida.

Dr. González earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from the University of Miami and obtained her Doctor of Medicine from St. George’s University School of Medicine. She then completed her OB/GYN residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, where she received the Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals Best Teaching Resident award.

Known for her exceptional communication skills, Dr. González takes the time to listen to her patients, thoroughly explain treatment options, and create a comfortable, non-judgmental environment. She is fluent in English and Spanish, ensuring accessibility to a diverse patient population.

Her clinical expertise spans routine and high-risk pregnancy care, contraceptive counseling, menopause management, STD screenings, and minimally invasive gynecological procedures. She has extensive experience working in hospital settings and group practices, including South Miami Hospital, Miami Beach Community Health Center, and West Kendall OB/GYN.

Dr. González is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and has served as a Clinical Professor for Family Medicine Residents at West Kendall Baptist Hospital. She is also actively involved in research, mentorship, and medical education, contributing to advancements in women’s health and obstetrics.

Outside of her practice, Dr. González enjoys cycling, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Torres was born in Cali, Colombia. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in biology at Kean University in New Jersey and graduated with honors from medical school at Ross University School of Medicine in Miramar, Florida. 

Dr. Torres went on to complete a general surgery internship at the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland, and an OB/GYN residency at Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia.

She maintains her medical credentials with continuing education to stay up to date with the latest advances in OB/GYN diagnostics and treatments. She personalizes treatment plans to help her patients and their new additions achieve the best possible outcomes.
