Dr. David Seil Kim, MD, PhD, is a board-certified OB/GYN with nearly 30 years of experience in women’s health, advanced surgical care, and medical education. He is widely recognized for his medical leadership and long-standing commitment to clinical excellence.

As the founder of Yunella Women’s Health, a boutique women’s health practice serving Mid City West and greater Los Angeles, Dr. Kim is dedicated to providing patient-centered care that blends modern technology with compassion and continuity.

Dr. Kim earned his BS in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from UC San Diego and his MD from SUNY Downstate, followed by OB/GYN residency training at George Washington University in Washington, DC. As a young medical school graduate in 1970, prior to the 1973 Roe v. Wade U.S. Supreme Court decision, I personally witnessed the heartbreaking aftermath of patients who had no other choice but to turn to dangerous, illegal abortions. It was a dark time. Patients endured medical abuse, permanent injury, and sometimes death at the hands of unskilled providers.

The right to choose became critically important because it became clear—painfully clear—that every individual deserves access to safe, legal, and compassionate reproductive healthcare.

The reversal of Roe v. Wade is not just a political shift. It’s a medical and human rights crisis. It takes us back to an era we fought hard to overcome. As a physician, friend, brother, husband, and father, I will do everything in my power to protect people’s right to reproductive freedom.

Dr. Karen S. Kornreich is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist in Beverly Hills, California, who has been improving the lives of women for over two decades.

Although Dr. Kornreich provides gynecological care to women of all ages, she has a dedicated interest in women who are perimenopausal or in menopause.
