Born in Lima, Peru, and raised in Roswell, GA, Dr. Uceda’s commitment to women’s health is rooted in both her cultural heritage and her strong connection to the area. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master’s in Chemistry from Georgia State University before attending Mercer University School of Medicine in Savannah, where her passion for obstetrics and gynecology was sparked by inspiring mentors.
Dr. Uceda completed her OB/GYN residency at Henry Ford’s Warren Campus in Michigan, where she served as Academic Chief and Surgical Representative to the Graduate Medical Education Resident Council. She developed her residency’s educational curriculum and earned recognition for her leadership and dedication to teaching.
With specialized training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and certification in Da Vinci Xi Robotic Surgery, Dr. Uceda offers her patients advanced, evidence-based treatment options for a variety of gynecologic conditions. She has extensive experience in laparoscopic and robotic procedures, with a particular interest in gynecologic pathology and helping patients achieve wellness through less invasive, faster-recovery approaches.
Her research includes presentations on labor management in obese patients and cost-effectiveness in gynecologic surgery, and she regularly shares her expertise at national and regional medical conferences. She is an active member of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists and the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
Outside of the office, Dr. Uceda enjoys spending time with her husband, young son, and Labradoodle. She loves cooking new recipes, attending outdoor art festivals, jogging, and hiking with her family.

Michelle Picon, MD, MPH, FACOG is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist at Georgia Obstetrics and Gynecology in Atlanta and Alpharetta, Georgia. She finds every aspect of her career incredibly fulfilling, from delivering babies to performing surgery and treating a variety of gynecologic conditions. Although she was raised in Rome, Georgia, Dr. Picon is originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico and a native Spanish speaker. She attended Duke University, then moved to Miami, Florida to earn her Medical Degree and Masters of Public Health at the University of Miami. During her time there, she was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to complete a maternal-child health research project working with adolescent mothers in Cartagena, Colombia. She then completed her residency at Emory University, and practiced in the Atlanta area for a few years before joining Georgia Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Picon spends her free time with her husband, daughter, and their dog Coconut. She enjoys running, swimming, spending time outdoors, and traveling, especially family trips to Puerto Rico.
Kel Harper, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with over three decades of experience, practicing at Georgia Obstetrics and Gynecology in Atlanta and Alpharetta, Georgia. Many of Dr. Harper’s patients start seeing him during their teen years and continue throughout the many stages of women’s health needs.
A lifelong resident of Georgia, Dr. Harper earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia in Athens before earning his medical degree at The Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He then fulfilled his OB/GYN residency at the Greenville Hospital System (now called Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital) in Greenville, South Carolina, before returning home to join the experienced physicians at Georgia Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Nicole Blackburn MD, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist at Georgia Obstetrics and Gynecology in Atlanta and Alpharetta, Georgia. A long-time resident of the Orlando, Florida area, Dr. Blackburn earned both her undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Florida in Gainesville. She moved to Atlanta to complete her OB/GYN residency training at Emory University. After residency, she joined the physicians at Georgia Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Blackburn welcomes all types of obstetric and gynecologic patients. She particularly loves building long term doctor-patient relationships, from assisting with their contraceptive needs, to delivering their babies, to guiding them through menopause.

Julie Zimmermann, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with over 28 years of experience at Georgia Obstetrics and Gynecology in Atlanta and Alpharetta, Georgia. She is committed to spending as much time with patients as needed, conducting thorough examinations, and discussing women’s health concerns along with potential treatment options to enable patients to make educated decisions about their health care.
Dr. Zimmermann started her educational journey with an undergraduate degree at Davidson College in North Carolina. She then moved to Atlanta to earn her medical degree at Emory University.

After completing her residency at Columbia University Medical Center in New York and an advanced pelvic surgery fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Umpierrez-Morley joined the team at Atlanta Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates.
At the practice, Dr. Umpierrez-Morley provides a full range of obstetrics and gynecology services. Anne Beesley, MD, is an OB/GYN in Atlanta, Georgia. She joined the team at Atlanta Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates in August 2019.
Dr. Beesley was raised in Peachtree City, Georgia. After graduating magna cum laude from Mercer University Macon, Georgia, she earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. OB/GYN Mimi Vanoyan, MD, FACOG, provides a wide range of women’s health services at Atlanta Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates’ two locations in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Vanoyan completed her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Davis. She received her medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed her internship and residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, where she also served as chief resident. As chief resident, she was named outstanding resident in laparoscopic surgery.
Dr. Vanoyan joined Atlanta Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates in April 2002. She is proficient in all areas of Obstetrics and Gynecology, with a special interest in adolescent gynecology, contraception, and high-risk obstetrics. Dr. Vanoyan is certified in the placement of all types of IUDs and Nexplanon®. She has been honored multiple times by Atlanta Magazine as one of their top doctors.
Dr. Vanoyan lives in Atlanta with her spouse, two children, and her sweet Havanese. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time in New York City with her family and riding in place on her Peloton.

Hayley Scholl, MD, FACOG was previously a clinical instructor in the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. During her residency, Dr. Scholl was chosen by her faculty and peers to serve as Chief Resident. She also served on the Memorial Health Wellness Committee, where she helped identify and address resident concerns. Additionally, she was a Resident Lecturer within the South University Physician Assistant Program, lecturing on topics in women's health to physician assistant students, and served as the Research Lead for the Program Improvement Project for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
In June 2021, Dr. Scholl was recognized with the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists Award for Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology. She was recognized by the faculty for excellence in gynecology upon graduation from residency. Jacqui Fisch, MD, FACOG, is an OB/GYN serving patients in Atlanta, Georgia. She has been with the team at Atlanta Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates since 1998.
Dr. Fisch obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Cape Town Medical School in South Africa. She then completed an internship in general and trauma surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, as well as internal medicine at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg in South Africa. Afterward, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and her fellowship in pelvic imaging.
She is a member of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is affiliated with Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. In addition to her OB/GYN career, Dr. Fisch is trained and works in non-invasive aesthetics.
Dr. Fisch an avid outdoorswoman and loves hiking, horse riding, wakeboarding, and traveling the world with her family. She founded a non-profit organization in Tanzania that promotes and supports education. She lives in Buckhead with her two children and two furry children.
Dr. Chinyere Ezekwe graduated magna cum laude from Stony Brook University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She earned her M.D. from Meharry Medical College in 2021.
She recently completed her OB/GYN residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in June 2025. During her training, Dr. Ezekwe received the Recognition of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Award from the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL), as well as the Resident of the Year Award for her outstanding contributions to patient care.
Dr. Ezekwe lives in Atlanta. She enjoys watching plays, visiting museums, and knitting.
Jayasri Bukkapatnam, MD, is an OB/GYN serving patients in Atlanta, Georgia. She joined the team at Atlanta Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates in April 2015.
Dr. Bukkapatnam is a graduate of Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, where she received a Bachelor of Science in biology. After receiving her medical degree from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies (WPHfWB). She was named Assistant Director of Medical Education OBGYN at WPHfWB in 2010, where she was responsible for staffing inpatient labor and delivery, gynecology and triage, as well as the outpatient gynecology clinic. While there, Dr. Bukkapatnam also taught and managed residents and medical students.
She is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Bukkapatnam is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is affiliated with Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.

Dr. Little was born and raised near Boulder, Colorado. She completed her undergraduate education at the State University of New York at Buffalo, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in anthropology and biomedical sciences.
After receiving her medical degree at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Memorial Health University Medical Center, affiliated with Mercer University, in Savannah, Georgia. During her residency, she served as the Administrative Chief Resident for the hospital and received recognition from the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine for her work in obstetrics.
During her training, Dr. Little became involved in Junior Fellow leadership for the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, holding the title of Georgia Section Vice-Chair. She has been involved in lobbying for maternal health at the state and national levels. She has authored publications on topics involving enhanced recovery at the time of cesarean sections and placental pathology related to preeclampsia.

Dr. Almquist grew up in Atlanta, where she attended the Westminster Schools. She then completed her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Greenville Health System in Greenville, South Carolina, and served as chief resident.

Julia Samaddar, MD, MPH, FACOG is a board-certified physician serving patients in Atlanta, Georgia providing obstetrics and gynecology services to the Georgia community. After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry from Emory University in Atlanta, Dr. Samaddar went on to earn a Master of Public Health and Health Informatics from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
Dr. Samaddar completed her medical education at the Medical College of Georgia where she received a Doctor of Medicine degree. As she was drawn to surgery and Ob/Gyn care, Dr. Samaddar continued her education at the Medical College of Georgia where she completed her residency in Ob/Gyn. She's received training in high-risk obstetrics, reproductive endocrinology and infertility, gynecology oncology, and urogynecology. In addition to her medical training, Dr. Samaddar has been in several publications relating to breast cancer and antiestrogen resistance. Additionally, Dr. Samaddar is trained in minimally invasive gynecological procedures including the da Vinci® Surgical System. She continued her career at a prominent Ob/Gyn practice at Emory University Midtown Hospital where she also served as a Clinical Professor to help train the next generation of physicians. Nathan Mordel, MD, is a board-certified gynecological surgeon at Atlanta Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Center in Atlanta, Georgia. He specializes in advanced robotic, laparoscopic, vaginal pelvic surgery, including for fibroids, endometriosis, heavy and/or painful menstrual periods, pelvic organ prolapse, and urinary incontinence.
Dr. Mordel received his medical training at Hadassah Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel, graduating with a degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology. After coming to the United States, he completed a residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics and a fellowship in advanced pelvic surgery at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
Dr. Mordel has been practicing in Tifton, Georgia, since July of 1998. In 2002, he came back to Atlanta, started AMIGS, and joined the Piedmont Hospital staff. Dr. Mordel has performed thousands of robotic and laparoscopic cases - over 2,500 hysterectomies and myomectomies for uteri up to 3,000 grams (7 pounds). He has performed over 500 sacrocolpopexies and over 500 excisions of endometriosis. His conversion rate is less than 0.2%. Certain complex cases require multispecialty participation - Dr.Mordel collaborates with robotically trained colorectal, urological and transplant surgeons.
