Jana Dopson Illston, MD, is a board-certified OB/GYN and urogynecologist serving patients at North Atlanta Ob/Gyn, which has locations in Alpharetta, Marietta, and Atlanta, Georgia. Julia Samaddar, MD, MPH, FACOG is a board-certified physician serving patients in Atlanta, Georgia providing obstetrics and gynecology services to the Georgia community. After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry from Emory University in Atlanta, Dr. Samaddar went on to earn a Master of Public Health and Health Informatics from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
Dr. Samaddar completed her medical education at the Medical College of Georgia where she received a Doctor of Medicine degree. As she was drawn to surgery and Ob/Gyn care, Dr. Samaddar continued her education at the Medical College of Georgia where she completed her residency in Ob/Gyn. She's received training in high-risk obstetrics, reproductive endocrinology and infertility, gynecology oncology, and urogynecology. In addition to her medical training, Dr. Samaddar has been in several publications relating to breast cancer and antiestrogen resistance. Peter J. Barratt, MD, FACOG, is an OB/GYN serving patients in the Atlanta, Georgia, area. He joined the team at Atlanta Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates in July 2005. Dr. Barratt has been in practice in Atlanta since 1986. Afterward, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and her fellowship in pelvic imaging.
