I, Lorena Tinoco, MD, am excited to open my doors and welcome you to my new state-of-the-art obstetrics and gynecology private practice located in South Miami where the patient’s well-being and satisfaction are my sole inspiration.

I believe in practicing excellent medicine by using innovation and technology, but also by giving my patients direct access to me. I also believe that providing continuity of care with the same doctor, a doctor that knows you and cares for you, is key to a successful health outcome.

In my practice, I intend to dedicate all my time, education and effort to help my patients with their health needs and also to obtain an outstanding patient-doctor relationship where patients feel they are being heard and not treated like just one more.

As a female bilingual OB/GYN doctor, I can deeply understand and connect with woman's needs of different cultures. Madelyn González, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN with over 10 years of experience providing comprehensive women’s health care, including pregnancy, gynecological conditions, and preventive wellness. She is dedicated to offering personalized, compassionate, and expert care to patients at the office of Lorena Tinoco, MD, located in South Miami and Coral Gables, Florida.

Dr. González earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from the University of Miami and obtained her Doctor of Medicine from St. George’s University School of Medicine. She then completed her OB/GYN residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, where she received the Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals Best Teaching Resident award.

Known for her exceptional communication skills, Dr. González takes the time to listen to her patients, thoroughly explain treatment options, and create a comfortable, non-judgmental environment. She is fluent in English and Spanish, ensuring accessibility to a diverse patient population.

Her clinical expertise spans routine and high-risk pregnancy care, contraceptive counseling, menopause management, STD screenings, and minimally invasive gynecological procedures. She has extensive experience working in hospital settings and group practices, including South Miami Hospital, Miami Beach Community Health Center, and West Kendall OB/GYN.

Dr. González is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and has served as a Clinical Professor for Family Medicine Residents at West Kendall Baptist Hospital. She is also actively involved in research, mentorship, and medical education, contributing to advancements in women’s health and obstetrics.

Outside of her practice, Dr. González enjoys cycling, traveling, and spending time with her family.

The Center for Urogynecology and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery is a leading provider of state-of-the-art healthcare services for women throughout the South Miami, FL, area. The practice features a relaxing environment and advanced technology aimed at providing patient-centered care for issues like menopause, infertility, pelvic organ prolapse, endometriosis, and incontinence, using cutting-edge approaches including FemiLift® laser vaginal rejuvenation and robot-assisted da Vinci® surgery. In addition, the practice offers cancer screening for breast cancer, cervical cancer, and ovarian cancer, including routine screening and screenings for women with specific risk factors for cancer.

Dr. Rafael Perez received his undergraduate degree at Harvard University and earned his medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Johns Hopkins affiliated Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Maryland. Dr. Perez is double-board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and urogynecology, having trained under two of the most influential doctors in their respective fields: Dr. James Dorsey for laparoscopic surgery and Dr. Alf Bent for urogynecology. At Center for Urogynecology and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery, Dr. Perez is committed to providing the highest level of individualized care to his patients in a warm and trusting environment. 

Dr. Firestone limits his practice to gynecology and women's health. He has been in private practice since 1987 and is a member of the clinical faculty of Florida Atlantic University, Nova Southeastern University, and Barry University. Dr. Firestone is a NAMS Menopause Practitioner and has served as the principal investigator for numerous clinical research trials and lectured nationally on a variety of women's health issues including contraception, hormone therapy, and menopause. 

 

Dr. Mariana Bubucea is a brilliant surgeon and renowned celebrity doctor specializing in integrative medicine and advanced wellness therapies. Dr. Naomi Ufberg received her BA from New York University in 2004 and a Masters in Public Health from UC Berkeley in 2006. She went on to continue her studies at Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University where she received her MD in 2010. 

Dr. Ufberg completed her residency in OB/GYN at the Hofstra North Shore/LIJSchool of Medicine. Here she received the award for excellence in teaching and education. She has remained passionate about educating women from the teen years through childbearing years and on through perimenopause and menopause; helping them to understand and take charge of their reproductive health. She has had the fortune of working in the field of maternal health with various populations abroad including Haiti, Guatemala, Thailand and Israel.

Dr Ufberg is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. After completing her residency training she worked in private practice in New York City for several years before moving to Florida in 2017. Since then she has been serving the South Florida community.

Dr. Ufberg is committed to creating a comfortable and open environment for her patients to receive comprehensive care.

Emily Woodbury, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN physician at Mira Women’s Health & Midwifery in Boca Raton, Florida. She’s known for her comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology knowledge, compassionate patient care, and warm bedside manner.

Dr. Woodbury was born into a family of physicians and knew from age 4 that she wanted to study medicine. She graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, with a bachelor’s degree in international affairs and science. She attended medical school at Columbia University in New York City, New York, and earned several prestigious research awards.

Dr. Woodbury fell in love with obstetrics and gynecology while studying under some of the best OB/GYNs in the world and working with midwives in locations worldwide, including India, Ghana, and London. She flourished in the OB/GYN field and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Woodbury completed her OB/GYN residency at Cornell University in New York, earning additional certification in the da Vinci® robotic surgical system. She has many years of private practice experience treating women from all walks of life and has gained thousands of patients’ trust. She also delivered babies at Mount Sinai West Hospital in New York City.

At Mira Women’s Health & Midwifery, Dr. Woodbury offers comprehensive OB/GYN services, including well-woman exams, prenatal care, and diagnosis and treatment of conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), vaginitis, ovarian cysts, and uterine fibroids.

Dr. Woodbury is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She relocated to Boca Raton, Florida, in the summer of 2021 with her husband, an interventional pain specialist, and their two young children. Dr. Woodbury looks forward to guiding her patients toward better health at Mira Women’s Health & Midwifery.

Kenneth Konsker, MD, FACOG, delivers expert obstetrics and gynecology care at Mira Women’s Health & Midwifery’s offices in Boca Raton, Florida. Dr. Konsker specializes in minimally invasive gynecological surgery and in-office procedures, using his exceptional skills and experience to minimize discomfort and resolve women’s health problems.

Dr. Konsker graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts, with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. He received the Max Tischler Scholarship in chemistry and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Medical Society. Dr. Konsker attended medical school at the prestigious Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, New York and remained there for his residency.

In addition to his work at Mira Women’s Health & Midwifery, Dr. Konsker teaches other doctors to perform procedures like loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP) cone biopsies, hysteroscopies, NovaSure® endometrial ablation, and Myosure® myomectomy in a safe office setting.

Dr. Konsker has been in private practice in Boca Raton since 1996. In 2009, he founded the largest OB/GYN management group in the United States. Florida Magazine voted him among the top OB/GYNs in 2020.

Dr. Konsker provides exemplary care to every patient at Mira Women’s Health & Midwifery and continues to advocate for OB/GYN physicians and caregivers.

Dr. Silfen completed his undergraduate education at Baylor University and received his Medical Degree from the University of South Alabama. He completed his residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital/Case Western Reserve University where he received specialized training in his areas of expertise. Dr. Silfen is board certified from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is currently on staff at West Boca Medical Center and the Boca Raton Outpatient Surgery and Laser Center. He is currently an Affilate Assistant Physician at Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine, at Florida Atlantic University and has practiced in Boca Raton for the past 28 years.

Dr. Robert C. Siudmak is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with over 40 years of experience in comprehensive OB/GYN care. Throughout his career, he has successfully performed thousands of gynecological and obstetric procedures.

Since 1985, Dr. Siudmak has served the South Florida community through his private practice, Total Women’s Healthcare, with locations in Hollywood and Pembroke Pines. His approach to women’s health is rooted in conservative intervention and organ preservation, delivered in a compassionate and patient-centered environment that generations of families have come to trust.

Dr. Siudmak earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Fordham University in New York and received his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1977. He completed his OB/GYN residency at New York Medical College before opening his first private practice in Manhattan. He later relocated to Florida, where he has continued to practice with dedication and care.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Siudmak has delivered more than 18,000 babies. Remarkably, he has delivered over 1,000 babies from parents he originally delivered—a rare and meaningful testament to his quality of care. Known for supporting natural childbirth, his primary C-section rate remains under 18%, and he has successfully performed more than 1,200 VBACs (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean).

Board-certified OB/GYN Marcela Torres, MD, at Modern OBGYN Care in Miramar, Florida, enjoys practicing in the field of obstetrics because having a baby is one of the most memorable moments in a woman’s life. She aims to ensure this moment is special and perfect for each of her patients.

Dr. Torres was born in Cali, Colombia. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in biology at Kean University in New Jersey and graduated with honors from medical school at Ross University School of Medicine in Miramar, Florida. 

Dr. Torres went on to complete a general surgery internship at the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland, and an OB/GYN residency at Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia.

She maintains her medical credentials with continuing education to stay up to date with the latest advances in OB/GYN diagnostics and treatments. She personalizes treatment plans to help her patients and their new additions achieve the best possible outcomes.
