Jen Wilen saw her first birth as a Peace Corps Volunteer in West Africa nearly 20 years ago and knew then that she wanted to become a midwife. After the Peace Corps, Jen got her Masters in Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She then spent a decade working in global health and women's rights, spending much of that time overseas. She later obtained both her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and her Masters in Midwifery from Columbia University. Prior to joining Boro Park, Jen worked as a Certified Nurse Midwife at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center in Brooklyn. Dr. Sophia Lubin is a proud first-generation Haitian-American. She is a single mother of two outstanding young men, Tyler and Maxwell. Dr. Lubin is a board-certified OB/GYN and a native New Yorker.  She holds a BS in Biology from The City College of NY and obtained her medical degree from NYIT-New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.
