Sally McNally has spent over 30 years working in the labor room both as a midwife and as a labor and delivery RN. Sally brings a wealth of information and experience to the patients she serves. Her goal is to work with her patients to help them achieve a birth experience as close to their dreams as possible. “I believe women are very wise and powerful, I encourage women to embrace that inner wisdom and trust their bodies during childbirth.”

Sally originally trained as a nurse and then as a midwife in Ireland. She spent 5 years in Saudi Arabia working as a midwife before coming to the US. She worked as an RN and Charge nurse for 20 years at CMH in Ventura. Recently she went back to school earning her Masters and CNM certification. Sally is a Certified Hypnotherapist, Certified Yoga Instructor and Certified Childbirth Educator. She blends these gifts together to help prepare women to go confidently into their labor and births. She teaches classes at CMH, New Parent Resource Center. Sally has one daughter and she is married to local realtor John McNally.

Patrick Diesfeld, MD, FACOG, specializes in obstetric and gynecologic care at Women’s Health Partnership Medical Group in Ventura and Oxnard, California. He offers a wide spectrum of services like annual exams, contraception, STD prevention, infertility treatments, and pregnancy care. He also offers advanced outpatient solutions for gynecologic surgery and offers collaborative midwife obstetric care. 

Dr. Diesfeld received his medical degree from the State University of New York, Buffalo. He completed his internship and residency at the Los Angeles County–USC Medical Center. He became a fellow at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He then became the assistant residency director at the UCLA Medical Center’s Ventura campus in the OB/GYN Training Program.

Dr. Diesfeld was one of the early members of the American Association of Gynecologic Surgeons and has presented original research at their annual meetings. He has been an innovator in the field of minimally invasive surgery and is a surgical device patent holder.

Catalin Marinescu, MD, FACOG, specializes in pelvic surgery with an emphasis on minimally invasive procedures at OBGYN CARE in Newport Beach and Irvine, California. He performs gynecologic surgeries, such as hysterectomy and reconstructive procedures for prolapse or other pelvic floor defects, as well as procedures to treat urinary incontinence. Dr. Marinescu has affiliations with Hoag Hospital Newport Beach and Hoag Hospital Irvine.

Dr. Marinescu had an unparalleled 10 years of post-graduate residency training. He did a general surgery program at Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania and was trained in obstetrics and gynecology at the prestigious Mount Sinai Hospital Medical Center in Chicago, affiliated with Rush University.

Dr. Simmi P. Dhaliwal is a board-certified OB/GYN physician at Femcare Medical Associates in Pomona and Ontario, California. As a Fellow of The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, she's committed to ongoing professional education and provides patients with the highest quality health care.

Dr. Dhaliwal completed her undergraduate studies in biomedical sciences at the University of California, Riverside. She attended medical school at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine from 1992-1996, and she completed her residency at Harbor UCLA Medical Center Department of OB/GYN from 1996-2000.

She was Chairman of the OB/GYN department at Pomona Valley Hospital from 2007-2008, 2009-2010, and 2015-2016. Dr. Dhaliwal has been board-certified by the American Board of OB/GYN since 2003.

Dr. Dhaliwal has lived in the area since she was 15-years-old and attended all local schools. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, bike riding at the beach, shuttling her three kids to soccer, and walking her Labrador puppy.

Dr. Wilson is a California girl through and through. She was born in San Diego and remained there through high school. She attended the University of California, Berkeley in Berkley, California, and then obtained her medical degree from the University of California San Francisco Parnassus Campus in San Francisco, California. 

After graduating, Dr. Wilson completed her residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in West Carson, California, and has worked in Southern California since.  

Dr. Wilson knew from a young age that she wanted to go into medicine as she was always interested in human behavior and the mind-body connection. She completed medical internships at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, and Stanford University in Stanford, California, further supporting her desire to practice medicine.  

She first joined Plaza-Towers Obstetrics & Gynecology in 1996, where, as one of the busiest practices at Cedars-Sinai, she followed and delivered low and high-risk pregnancies and performed gynecological surgeries and procedures. Dr. Wilson enjoyed teaching residents at both Cedars-Sinai and UCLA Medical Centers. 

From 2000-2017, she worked with The Beverly Hills Group of Women’s Physicians with offices in Beverly Hills and Manhattan Beach, California. In the summer of 2018, Dr. Wilson rejoined Plaza-Towers Obstetrics & Gynecology.

With over 20 years of experience under her belt, Dr. Wilson’s practice encompasses a wide range of obstetric and gynecological issues, including high-risk pregnancy, pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, uterine fibroids, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), contraception, sexually transmitted infections, abnormal pap smears, treatment of teens, pre-pregnancy counseling, unintended pregnancy, PMS, menopause, and hormonal treatment.
